Chicago Fire recap
Here’s my thoughts on the Chicago Fire fall finale:
Dawsey
Oh my Dawsey heart. It was blessed last night with Monica Raymund’s return. I was a little nervous for it not gonna lie (just because I like Brettsey) — but damn did Fire remind me why I loved Dawsey in the first place.
Ugh. Those two are magic. But I hated that it was like a tease...we know she’s leaving again, so the whole sleeping together thing may just throw Matt (and the fandom) for a loop. Poor guy, I hope not. He deserves a good woman.
And Brett was such a good friend to him. It was actually really nice to just see them talk you know? Like be normal. Not so awkward because of this unspoken tension. So that was refreshing & I throughly enjoyed seeing that.
Sev & Stella
Seriously, I love Stellaride. If Derek puts Wendy in the middle of them I’m gonna be mad. Like goddamn. Wendy Seager needs to not do that please — course I did find it mildly entertaining about Matt’s comment of “Stella would kick her ass” because YES SHE WOULD.
Poor Stella too. She needs some rest my goodness gracious. I’m glad none of those people were hurt in that minor accident. The scene between her & Chief Boden at the end of the episode was wonderful. Simply wonderful.
Also, while I liked Sev at OFI, I’m with Mouch when he asked when he’s coming back to 51 — no like seriously, when? We need Severide back on Squad where he belongs. Please Fire!
Crotis Forever
I’m gonna need a moment for Cruz & Otis’ friendship. That was glorious... Yuri & Joe are so pure.
The representation that the drone had for Cruz’s emotions surrounding Otis was expertly stated, without being too in your face. I also liked how they managed to bring Ritter & Gallo into the scenes too.
