Just taking a moment to appreciate these two. ✨😊 They're both so talented & keep it so fun and real.

2008➡️2009➡️2011➡️2017 Demi was at the brink of stardom in 2008 with her role in Camp Rock. 2009 saw her with two records and movies. 2010 was when she first entered treatment, to be released in January of 2011. Little did we know that while preaching recovery, she was still battling with drugs and alcohol. She talked about this in her new documentary "Simply Complicated" - where she wasn't ready to get clean and it took numerous efforts, hospitalizations and interventions to get through to her. She drank for the last time (in 2012, I'm assuming, since she has almost 5&1/2 years sobriety in 2017 now) on the way to the American Idol performance. Crazy to know that (being high or hungover) was showcased in the tv performance above (3rd photo). Finally, she's clean and sober and healthy in body mind and spirit. Couldn't be prouder of her for showing us her journey. Simply Complicated, Completely Demi. 💓
