This scene is SO underrated for them. I mean between Lucy technically complimenting him & reassuring him...to Tim’s foreshadowing quote...ugh, it’s so good. They just understand each other so well & know exactly what the other needs to hear.

i just really liked this scene because not only do you see lucy opening up & being vulnerable with tim but you see him go from slightly agitated to softer & gentler because he realized she was still hurting. he wanted to help her, not hinder her process & i think that shows just how much growth his character has had in (at the time of this ep) 2.5 seasons.

aka: the Upstead way of getting sh*t done in 6x20 a lot of 👀 & a little ✋

I just love how Jay & Hailey are such good partners, understand each other, and work so well together that they’re able to have full conversations with their eyes (and a few hand signals on Jay’s part.) Even so, Hailey knew exactly what she needed to do to help him out & they executed the plan perfectly. I don’t know any better partners nope I do not. 👏👏 It’s such an underrated scene from season 6, episode 20!!

PS: Jay “tongue’s out” Halstead strikes again 😂😛 I stg it’s just a Jesse thing but it still cracks me up every time.
