Except for the bottom left, that one’s purely for the gigs. 

- Leisure: Pretty much just Skolas being comfortable, which is… really a rather rare occasion. - Transition Regalia: Skolas donned this as he went through the hormonal changes to become kell morph/1st gender (as per the fic and our headcanons, the eliksni generally have 3 gender morphs). - Kell Regalia: Skolas’s final gear before he got the horns on the back and before it got all shredded and dinged up like in canon. - Wolves Morale Booster: Purely for fun. Pure meaty fun. Also an easter eggs for the sharp-eyed. - Mourning Garb(s): This one I couldn’t decide between the two but the idea is that white+black is a holy color due to its link with the Great Machine. With the Wolves it’s used for grieving/funerary practices.

Still not entirely sure where I’m going with the head design, I keep remaking it and making it again. Trying to translate it into something decent looking in my style while is an ongoing process (the poor lighting on the skulls in the church don’t help either). I also altered the plating on the torso because there’s no way they can bend over with the canon-set up.

I’m proud of the costuming at least. Hopefully it captures some of  the colorful ideas we’ve presented in the fic.

[Video description: The person behind the camera is at a playground and approaches three girls, one of whom is in a blue sweater and is lying with her eyes closed on a plastic slide, while two others, one with a hat and one in a black sweater, fan her with branches while quietly chanting, "Be a wolf" repeatedly. Blue Sweater: "What are you doing here?"

Black Sweater: "Climbing up the slide is a rite of passage for our clan."

Hat: [aggressively twirling hair] "You can't call yourself a member until you do it!"

All start climbing up the slide. When the person behind the camera reaches the top, panting, the three others are already waiting there.

Blue Sweater: "Long live the queen." [pushes person behind the camera down the slide]

[cut to three girls kneeling on the ground, taking handfuls of wood chips and pretending to eat them]

Black Sweater: "This is where we get our food."

Blue Sweater: "You don't like it? You can beat it."

[cut to grassy lawn]

Blue Sweater: "This [points to tree behind her] is the Tree of Life. It gives us our wolf powers, and without our ancestors, it wouldn't be here."

Black Sweater: "Come on."

All three start howling and running toward the tree, sometimes getting down on all fours.

[cut to all three bowing in front of the tree in worship, chanting, "Wolf Clan!" repeatedly. End description.]

Skolas as a Wind Waker Ganon-style villain would have been so nice. He was the reigning kell in the aftermath of the death of half of his House, a literal genocide. He woke up to find his people living chained under Mara’s 50+ year reign over them (and said people dropped Mara like a hot potat, you really want me to think that the Wolves were happy under Mara?).

Instead Forsaken mostly stealth retconned the Scatter and had him sympathize with Mara before his last fight, like? Why? I know you need to make the Awoken more sympathetic than the racist isolationists that they were in D1 but this is literally the least interesting way that could have been done.
