Kanan having a red and blue lightsaber fighting temple guard in S2 E18? Amazing.
The fact that his grandmaster was Windu, who was known for channeling his anger into his forms while being in the light still? Makes this point even better.

For day three of @kaneraweek, we have a little prequel of sorts to day one! Hope y'all enjoy it, and definitely check out this art by @singswan-springswan that helped inspire it!

Kanan hadn’t always believed in magic. Even in a world that had seen the effect of magical beings had recently as 10 years ago, there were many in the galaxy who believed beings like the fae were simply a hoax. At the very least, most who believed were certain that the last of the fae had died out years ago.
He hadn’t been raised in a family who believed that, though. The Windu family took the existence of magic as fact, though this earned them plenty of ridicule. Kanan remembered, when he was only ten years old, coming home from school after picking a fight with kids who mocked him for believing in something as childish as magic.
His mother had still been at work. But his grandfather—Grandpa Mace to him. It was only later in life that he realized what an intimidating, indomitable figure Mace Windu was in most settings, academic or otherwise—had been there. He’d brought Kanan into his office, given him a cold pack for his bruised hand, and frowned at him severely.
shatterpoint doing their thing
Maybe Mace Windu?
mace windu!!!!!
Jedi Teacher: Padawan Windu, that was amazing! How were you able to take out that rampaging rancor so easily?
Mace Windu, who has Force Shatterpoint which allows him to see where and when to strike: I just hit the glowing weak spot. It's not that hard.
Jedi Teacher:
(Mace Windu, holder of the rare Jedi skill called "Video Game Vision".)
I can't lie, day 3 of @spectre-week was the only one I had an immediate idea for and executed it in a normal, timely fashion. So here it is!!
The bays of Venator-class star cruisers were always busy, especially before and after missions. Pilots and engineers and droids dashing here and there, dealing with problem after problem. Taking steps towards fighting the war that was tearing its way across their galaxy.
In the center of the hubbub were the Y-wings— the ships that were flown in combat by the clones, and occasionally the Jedi. At the moment they were being serviced— by engineers, mostly, assisted by droids.
One of those droids, an orange-domed astromech, was supposed to be running diagnostics on his Y-wing. But C1-10P had never been particularly skilled at obeying orders.
Do you think Mace and Anakin can bond over being girl dads (I am not that anon but a part of the niche club)
gasp YES!!

i’m not into “who’s the most powerful jedi” “who’s the best duelist” stuff but if i was, mace windu would be my man. who the fuck defeats palpatine. in a 1v1 . every other time someone has to fight palpatine in this saga they’re like “noooo i’ll turn to dark side there must be another way 😔😔” mace just does it. he beat the shit out of that old man what the fuck
@swsource STAR WARS WEEK:
Day 6: Light Side - May the 4th be with you!
↳ THE SHATTERPOINT LINEAGE
Mace Windu, Depa Billaba, Caleb Dume Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger
"We do what we have trained our whole lives to do. Trust in the Force. Believe in the path that is set out before us. Stand in defense of all peoples, not just of the Republic, but across the galaxy. We do what any Jedi would when staring into the face of evil. We fight."
shout-out to me on this day, 4 years ago when I finished the novel "Shatterpoint" and sat staring into the abyss for two hours, brain chemistry irreparably altered.
I think poor Mace Windu deserves a nap... Let this man sleep he needs it... Anyway I think Depa and baby Caleb would draw on his face when they see him asleep in this essay i will
huge agree but I think he could only nap knowing his padawan and grandpadawan were also safe and relaxed. the only solution? lineage nap pile

"You must choose the Force, with your whole heart. To do this, you must learn, again, to listen. To hear the world, the world outside of your own emotions"
My story for @sw-olives-and-grapes, which I finished JUST in time last night! It's a little messy and I'm not totally satisfied with the ending, but I hope you guys like it nonetheless!
(note for those who don't follow the link: Hera and Kanan's outfits are inspired by pictures I've seen of the Chinese hanfu! Also there are no real content warnings here)
“COME ON GUYS WE’RE GONNA BE LATE!”
“Since when is Ezra the one who wants to be on time?” Caleb Dume muttered, tugging at the collar of his tunic for the thousandth time. His formal Jedi robes might have been right for the occasion, but that didn’t stop them from being more uncomfortable than his usual attire.
Hera’s voice was muffled by the closed door of her room, where she was changing. “Probably since Sabine’s the one doing the fireworks after the ceremony. And he’s grown up more than we give him credit for, dear.”
There's this one scene in the 2003 Jedi Star Wars where Mace Windu returns from a hard fight to get a water bottle from a kid, and now I imagine a poster like this up in every creche classroom
"Trust the Force as it trusts you to know when to strike."
