To me it’s funny to pick apart Wings of Fire and the weird little things about it because I know that it isn’t that serious. It really doesn’t impact the story much if the worldbuilding doesn’t make complete sense, but it’s funny to see the little errors and pretend to get mad about it. The Hivewings are all inbred. The sun is going to blow up now, the world is over. Idk if that makes sense but I’m going to be a mischievous little guy and giggle whenever I notice something that doesn’t make sense.

i love sharks. i am obsessed with sharks.

and i'm glad that the "jaws" view of sharks is fading. but it worries me that people are saying things like "sharks are literally just ocean puppies". no, they're not as dangerous as a lot of people think, but they're still wild animals. do not treat a shark like a puppy. i've seen videos of people getting themselves bitten by nurse sharks. if you know anything about nurse sharks, then you know that these people were really harassing them. they're not monsters, but they're not your friends either. they're animals who will lash out if they're antagonized or crowded.

TikTok also super suddenly decided that stingrays are evil and can't be trusted under any circumstances ever. It was like one day no one cared n then suddenly boom, everyone was talking about how much they hated them.

What? No. Whaaat?? It’s not because they have their venom stinger is it? Probably exactly that… it’s the same sort of deal as with sharks, a stingray will sting if it feels threatened so humans ought to be careful with them and leave them be as much as possible! They are otherwise very docile animals!
