in honor of fhjy im turning an old denim jacket into my take on Adaine's jacket of useful things. i'll be working on it for the next bit/few days so updates will happen as i have them :)
i'm turning it into one of those cool mesh jackets cause i have some leftover mesh from a project that's pretty cool
so here i've marked out the panels i'll be removing with chalk
i may add some more on the front later but i'm starting with these
back is done!!!
so i for sure got carried away on the front but i think it's swag (there's also stripes down the outside of the sleeves that aren't pictured here)
last update for today -- i've started adding some embroidery details. i'm kinda going for an abstract magic vibe. here's a pic so far of the stripe of denim below one of the pockets:
(yes i use chalk to sketch out my embroidery. no it's not exact, but it's easy to get out once i'm done)
