"Ow!" Alistair flinched as his lady-love cleaned the scrape on his head.

"Sorry, but we're out of poultices," Sigrun said, pressing the hot cloth harder.

"Times like this, I really miss having a mage around."

"I'd magic it better if I could."

"But this way you get to fuss over me... Ow!"

"You're cute when you're helpless, like a little lost nug."

"Dwarven Wardens say the weirdest things, and you make your ceilings way too low."

"Next time remember to duck your head as you go through the door, or keep your helm on." Sigrun smiled at him, when he was sitting down, their heads were at the same height.

"I'm not used to being able to look a dwarf in the eyes without stooping."

Sigrun put her arms around his neck and pressed her head against his chest: "I love my Commander."

"Could you teach me how to shape change?" I asked Morrigan, who scowled at me, like the horrible harridan she was.
