KILLER STYLE MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE EDITION
Christopher McQuarrie's content from the set of Mission: Impossible 8: breathtaking scenery, beautiful photos of old planes in the sky.
Simon Pegg's content from the set of Mission Impossible 8:
Simon Pegg talks Benji Dunn’s tinder profile and his crush on Ethan Hunt (x)
Damn, I forgot how much I ship Ethan and Benji. Its all Simon Peggs fault! Why does he needs to run around an dtell everyone that Benji has a crush on Ethan? Pansexual Kirk, my ass!
ah, I think it’s standard operating procedure that we ship Simon Pegg with just about anyone
(descriptions + context above each GIF)
An outtake from the British TV show Spaced where Mike Watt (Nick Frost) kisses Tim Bisley (Pegg) on the cheek, and the two giggle afterward. Both of them are heavily bandaged. Closely bonded since sleeping in the same bed as roommates, Frost and Pegg go on as a duo for several more productions, from the Cornetto trilogy to the likes of Paul, The Adventures of Tintin, and Slaughterhouse Rulez. They own a production company together: Stolen Picture.
From Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, Benji Dunn (Pegg) takes a remote off his mouth and tries to use it but Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) grabs his wrist and stops him before the two disguised agents blow their cover in the hallway. Pegg eventually admits in interviews that Benji does look up to and have a crush on Ethan. Cruise and Pegg themselves tend to show affection for each other from time to time.
From Mission: Impossible — Fallout, Benji Dunn (Pegg) catches Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) staring up at the sky and then pushes her off from her standstill. Pegg and Ferguson are close friends on the set, especially while Tom Cruise is away shooting death-defying action scenes.
Also from Fallout, Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) overpowers Benji Dunn (Pegg) who is barely experienced in mêlée combat. Lane previously tried to kill Dunn in Rogue Nation, but some Mission: Impossible fans were curious to see what if the two Englishmen were partners instead.
From a Vanity Fair video featuring Mission: Impossible — Fallout costars Henry Cavill and Simon Pegg talking about English slang, Cavill giggles and Pegg cackles over a joke in which Cavill made up a rich little punchline. Pegg brings out a humor in Cavill that we barely get to see thanks to Cavill’s serious role choices.
A blooper from Star Trek Into Darkness where James Kirk (Chris Pine) and Montgomery Scott (Pegg) sink out of camera view with grins on their faces. Kirk + Scotty are not as immensely popular a pairing in the Trekkie fandom as Kirk + Spock but like all fan-preferred couples, they go a long way back. Pine and Pegg merely keep tradition.
From Star Trek Beyond, Jaylah (Sofia Boutella) pulls out a long heavy staff-like weapon from over her shoulder as Montgomery Scott (Pegg) follows close behind her. The two characters bond quite well throughout the movie thanks to their shared knack for fixing things.
simonpegg: You can really see how much I enjoy doing behind the scenes interviews from this M:I 7 EPK screen grab. Happy Friday!❤️

Henry Cavill and Simon Pegg Teach You English Slang.
…. Uhm guys!
I think Taron Egerton will be Watson? Or at least play a role in Enola Holmes 2?!
Hear me out! I recently checked who Cavill follows. And Cavill was following Egerton but he wasn’t following back. Now he suddenly follows back
I know it is thin but he would make a good Watson. And many people fan casted him. It makes sense
Apart from the fact that we need more Watson played by people if color but…. 👀 am I onto something?
Edit: and Taron also follows Claflin.
Only MBB and Taron are not following eachother, which neatly ruins my theory again
🤔
Interesting… much more plausible than my suggestion.
What were your suggestions? Hard cheese? Probably Simon pegg? Who else?
There was no one else, I only suggested Simon Pegg 😅
That was my contribution.
And probably not a very likely one at that (no matter how awesome it would be!)
But he would fit, at least from the book description. But considering how hard Netflix tries to do the opposite of the book Egerton is probably more likely
Yeah and me checking Cavills Profil for who might play Watson doesn’t had any success...
I hope they put him in Enola 2!
According to the 2nd book summary (from Amazon) Watson is in the story, but I'd like Simon Pegg to play the good doctor (he's so funny and talented and he has a wonderful chemistry with Henry)
Watson is in the books from book 2 onwards. He plays a much bigger role in book 3. So i would surprised if they do NOT cast him. I also would love to see Pegg but he is busy with MI7/8
If we find an actor that Cavill is interacting with more or that he starts following now we know we have our Watson
If I were in charge of casting...
My dream cast would still be Riz Ahmed
But damn your are brilliant! Pegg and Cavill have an amazing chemistry. I only say: Hard cheese
I laugh so hard my jaw is falling apart
Some journalist said, “Well you’re probably too big for Britain now, you’re going to Hollywood.” And you said, “Well, it’s not like I’m gonna be in Mission Impossible 3 or anything.” Six months later, you’re in Mission Impossible 3!
@simonpegg
Chilling between shots. Standard formation.

I know people have been fancasting Armie Hammer and Joey Batey as Watson in future Enola Holmes and I love the chemistry Henry shares with them but why has no one mentioned Simon Pegg yet?
I mean look at this
