poor sanji😂😭
Every day Law spends with the Strawhats, he learns that not only is Luffy completely unhinged, they ALL are. Aka the Strawhats move as a collective idiot entity.
We joke about them sharing rhe braincell but tbh if any ONE of them had functional neurons they would not be following Luffy.
from personal experience
Why they didn’t casted an actual red head is still beyond me… or at least used a better color
It looks so incredible fake
I heavily disagree. Of course there is no one with exactly Namis hair color out there but there are a lot of red heads with a hair close to Anime!Nami:
Yeah maybe they have primer (or whatever you call that) in their hair to make it look more red, but my point is: their whole face fits the color, because also their eye brows and eye lashes are red + the light skin type
Namis hair just doesn’t fits the actress… and I think the actress does an amazing job btw

I always knew that many Shonen mangas have a problem with the representation of women. But I was always childish enough to think that certain readers men know that a woman with an I-cup fighting crimes in hot pants and a crop top is not realistically but comical exaggeration.
And now I am completely speechless that people men cancel the live action adaptation not for storytelling reasons or anything else but no, because the woman has no I-Cup and no crop top
What the hell were you expecting?! Rethorical question, please don’t answer
Live action doesn't have to be "realistic" either. I'm not a fan of one piece and only know the basics, but if you can accept Luffy's stretching powers, or the walking, talking skeleton in a live action movie, you can accept Nami, Robin and the other female characters having sexy outfits in a live action movie.
And as for feye valentine from the cowboy bebop movie, shirtless scenes for male characters in live action movies are dime a dozen. Just look at all the times Hugh Jackman had to fight with no shirt off as wolverin. And professional male actors are often expected to go through insane dehydration to get the skin so thin it sits on the muscles to look sexy for the female audience. The least the female actresses could do is show a bit of cleavage for the male ones. Either both sides get fanservice, or neither do.
Also, even if the physique of certain characters may not be possible in real life (like the girls in one piece, as well as some of the larger guys) the costumes are not. Female fans and cosplayers dress in accurate cosplays all the time, sometimes professionally and sometimes just for fun, and often have to make it themselves.
If they can do it, a professional actress should be able to handle just wearing a sexy outfit if they're being paid shitload of money by the studio, and are providing the outfit for her.
Oh boy. I Do not even know where to start.
What men do with their bodies in Hollywood movies is also fucked up. We do not want that either.
No one ever said something against robin and Nani looking sexy in the live action adaptation. But you can not expect them to have the same body proportions like in the Manga because if a woman in real life has that they would be dead. I saw post saying: „they will downsize Namis and Robins breast by three cups and make them totally flat.“ newsflash, even if you would downsize Nami and robin by three cups they would still have an E cup, something most women get severe backpain from.
Yeah I also want a sexy Zoro, and as a bisexual woman I also want a sexy robin and nami, but I want to have in a realistic way that is achievable by a real human being. And if someone is sexy is not related to how big their boobies are. Nami and Robin can still look sexy in tank top and a C-cup. It doesn’t have to be a Bra the whole time
Also there is a big difference between cosplay and doing stunt work in a costume. Remember how Henry Cavill was wearing down his costume the whole time because it was actually not made for his body proportion and the stunts he did in the costume?
Also this is why I do not want a life action adaptation because a animated walking Skeleton and a talking deer will look horrible
