i’d like everyone to know that as an american highschooler i stared at this map in shock for a good 10 minutes. i didn’t know that other countries didn’t have school shootings. i thought it was normal to not feel safe

Europe has stricter gun control laws and accessable or free mental health care and look at that, school shootings are either rare or non existent. But keep talking about the easy access to guns and the expensive therapy costs in the US being completely unrelated to that…
Funfact but Austria is still among the safest countries worldwide even though we Europeans have “so many violent refugees and Islamists flooding us” here.
