Wasn’t “Extremis” to “the lie of the land” just a retlling of the season finale of season 3 with “turn left” mixed in? 

Not only that they had the same amount of epsiodes (three), but the whole story was told the same way.

first: The alternive universe/hypnosis

2. the alines arriving on the planet and want to be accept by the humans

3. Distopia. Everyone is running around in dark cloths, the doctor is locked away and only the companion and the power of the free will can save the world.

not that i want to complain, both of them had there good and bad moments, but why putting a three epsiode long storyline in the middle of a season and not at then end?
