semi-hiatus

as is the case with all of grace’s edits, this edit is just so clean and so stunning. i love the fonts grace used, especially in the first panel where the g, o, p, a, and f, are a different font from the rest of it, and the flower and the flames. i love the motion blur of the second panel and the quotes picked too! 

this edit of devya’s fits the vibe of these violent delights perfectly. there’s this almost vintage aesthetic to the coloring that fits so well. and as always, dev’s choice of quotes and fonts is beautiful (and now i want to reread tvd). 

i love this edit of isha’s so much! the colors are so bright and vibrant, and i really like how “shadow” and “fox” are outlined and repeated a couple times! 

can i just say how much i love this favorite characters series? i don’t really see blue and purple associated with alexis that often either, which is another reason why i absolutely love this one! the font for “alexis rose” is so pretty, and you picked some of her most iconic quotes. 

bie’s cemetery boys edit is so creative and just so pretty! the soft orange in the photos, the orange shadow, the textures used – it’s perfect! and on another note, it makes me so happy to know that you loved cemetery boys 🤍 

i haven’t read priory of the orange tree yet, but this edit is breathtaking! if it wasn’t already on my list to one day get around to reading, it definitely would be because of this edit. i love the folded paper texture, the coloring, and the way the text is curved in the last panel specifically! 

shadow of the fox is tentatively on my tbr list for january literally for cindy alone and this edit has made me even more excited to read it! the quotes cindy picked broke my heart even without context or me knowing anything about this book, and the orange tones of this edit is gorgeous! 

may, i’m always in awe of your edits and your editing style! every panel is always so cohesive and matches so well; it tells a story so clearly, and you have such a unique way of using textures! 

i always know when i’m looking at an edit of saima’s because there’s such a distinct feel to it! i love the white floral outlines in the background, the white outlines around the faceclaims (so in awe of how clean they are), and the quotes you picked!
