saw the scene where achilles beheaded a statue of apollo and shook my head with a thumb down so He knows i don't approve
once again, i love Apollo immeasurably. i had an absolutely devastating day on friday, through which He comforted me and told me to let it out as much as i could because i tend to repress this stuff. on saturday, He told me to take it easy and rest. and now, today, on His sacred day, He basically said "alright, up we get" and is helping me put myself back together.

guys i love Apollo so much. i was crying so much yesterday and it felt like i had my head in His lap and i kept having pep talk and comforting words pop into my head. at one point i was like, “what if i'm just talking to myself” and i distinctly remember such a gentle, slightly amused tone going, “well that would be okay too, wouldn't it? it's still helping you, isn't it? what does it matter?” and that kind of confirmed it was Apollo for me
also, for those wondering why my other blog usernames are like that, i made them with said deity's permission.
actually, scratch just permission. They got to choose everything. the user, the theme, the pfp, the banner, everything.
they're usually based off of nicknames the Gods have given me (Hermes couldn't decide on one) and the Gods usually say to make one when i ask how i can honour Them
go forth and ask the Gods to do your phone design, Athena did my homescreen and it looks super cool!
I literally asked Eros and Artemis to show me what They want my home and lockscreens to look like in honor of my relationships with Them. Same with Aphrodite and Ares on my other phone! 🥹

thank you to hermes for helping me realise all i really need to do to keep this one toxic person out of my life for long periods at a time is communicate with them ( they don't like that i learned to move on and communicate , and ghost me every time i call them out on their bs which is often ).
and thank you to ares for helping me not gaf whenever they ghost me for months now and actually cherish and look forward to their ghosting periods.
and thank you to apollon and lucifer for helping me realise that i need to keep moving forward and letting them remain in my life will only tie me down and keep me stagnant.
i'm a hermes soul child of course i value all comedy except the type of comedy where someone is just trying to be offensive without any repercussions by labelling it a joke
i'm an apollo devotee of course i can easily spot when that happens and do not take it lightly
this may sound weird but i've finally developed a sense of balance in terms of what i call apollon.
for context, i feel weird if i say apollon all the time because it feels too formal and restrictive, but it feels too casual to constantly say apollo too.
so now, instead, when i'm talking to or about him in a lighthearted / casual manner with other hellenic pagans or other devotees ( or just yapping to him about my day ), i say apollo. when i'm talking to him formally ( i.e, inviting him for a reading, giving a formal prayer, etc ), talking about him seriously, or talking to non-pagans about him then i say apollon.
this is a weird analogy but it's kind of like how in some fiction, the king's son will call him father or dad in private but address him as "his majesty" or "your majesty" in front of others!
point of this post? i don't know, kind of a reminder that your practice is your own, and that you can mix and match if that works for you.

sometimes doing deity readings is me sitting with apollo's candle to the right of me and erebos's candle to the left of me so that i am protected by both darkness and light , with a citrine to my front and a clear quartz to my back , with meditative music on and the lights dimmed , prayers falling from my lips to invite the deities into my space.
and sometimes it's me going "ah, screw it" and playing ho ho ho by teya+salena to bring in dionysos and hermes for a reading and it works immediately.

does anyone else have prophetic dreams but they're just really useless <- guy who has had many prophetic dreams of small moments in the far future and have seen them come true exactly as they were in the dreams including my thoughts during it but it's never really important like … just me sitting in a specific room wearing specific clothes listening to someone talking about a specific thing , or me walking past a specific building with the weather a specific way and even the chatter of the people around me was specific
