so i just started being a dungeon master with my bf and my best friend and i made a couple characters based off tendou and ushijima!! tendou’s a rogue mastermind tiefling and ushijima is a half-dragonborn-half-human champion fighter,,,, its so fun butttttt
i’m a little unsure for the whole entire arc - i know the general storyline and my final boss idea but if any of you guys have experience with d&d and wanna shoot some ideas my way, that’d be so lit. if you don’t, then love youuu!! hope ur havin a great day :P

50 Tendou HCs~
It’s Tendou’s birthday!!! Instead of gushing for 574389 hours (which I still might do later if I feel like it) I thought I would compile some of my Tendou HCs into one post! I have a lot, because I spend 90% of my time thinking about him, and I hope you all will enjoy these ;;
- He’s covered in freckles from head to toe, but they’re more prominent on his cheeks and shoulders. They’re already very visible year-round but even more so when the sun comes out.
- He’s been doodling and making original characters his entire life, it’s always been a nice escape from the real world around him. It’s not until he’s going through the college-is-soon crisis that he realizes he can take this skill further than just simple doodles on notebook paper.
- Shockingly, he’s an amazing cook. Or, well, it’s 50/50. Either the things he creates in the kitchen are incredible and probably award-worthy, or they’re awful and hardly edible.
- He enjoys the creative freedom he has in the kitchen, though, and he’s always trying to make brand new things.
- Silence makes him incredibly uncomfortable. He doesn’t mind being in the presence of quiet people, but he’s likely to talk their ears off just to fill the silence.

YES!!! GOOD!!! KawaTen is one of those ships that I wish more people were into, and TenSemi is one of the most entertaining Tendou relationships to think about, haha.
KawaTen
- Surprisingly compatible and really mutually beneficial!
- Kawanishi struggles a lot with self-confidence and putting himself out there, but Tendou is great about encouraging him in these aspects.
- Tendou is aggressively encouraging (almost too aggressive sometimes) on the court and during practice, but in more private moments he offers more serious and calm encouragement when he knows Kawanishi needs something not as loud.
- Kawanishi doesn’t often vocalize it, especially openly in public, but he appreciates Tendou’s confidence in him and the fact that his senpai really and truly believes in his abilities, not just in volleyball.
- Meanwhile, Kawanishi is a wonderful cadidate for Tendou to dote on.
- Tendou Loves having the opportunity to gush and fawn over his kouhai, and all of that intensifies once he’s in a relationship with Kawanishi.
- There’s a lot of potential angst and feelings when it comes to the topic of Kawanishi being Tendou’s replacement on the team as soon as he graduates.
- He probably doesn’t entirely believe he can manage it, or that he’ll even be half as good for the team as Tendou was, but Tendou is eager to squash those insecurities.
- Their relationship stays pretty lowkey and private (for Kawanishi’s comfort) but Tendou takes full advantage of the times when they’re alone and Kawanishi is more open to affection.
- Lots of random late-night adventures, spurred on by Tendou’s “c’mon, Taichi, it’ll be FUN!” and Kawanishi’s inability to argue with his enthusiasm.
- Since Kawanishi isn’t that good at expressing his feelings for Tendou in words, he likes to make mixtapes and playlists for him. It allows his music-nerd side to come out plus Tendou always becomes an emotional mess when he receives a new playlist.
- After Tendou graduates and leaves, they call each other a lot. Kawanishi isn’t talkative but he actually enjoys listening to Tendou rattle on about his college post-high school adventures. Plus, as he’s the new vice captain, having the regular confidence boosting pep talks is really helpful.
TenSemi
- They end up dating on a whim, but honestly, they feel like they’ve been dating for a lot longer.
- The relationship is “officially” established, according to Tendou, after a silly joke late one night in their dorm room, a fleeting comment about feeling as though they’re dating.
- The next day, Tendou is suddenly telling everyone that they’re actually dating now, and Semi is just extremely confused, though honestly surprised that he feels super okay with it.
- Oddly enough, the entire team doesn’t feel surprised. Most of them had been betting it would happen eventually, anyway.
- Since they’ve been best friends for a while and roommates for three years, their relationship stays pretty much the same, just with lots of affection now mixed in.
- Nights after practice generally consist of sitting together on one of their beds, “studying” - aka complaining about having to study instead of actually doing it - for several minutes before deciding that cuddling is way more important.
- Their living space is an absolute disaster, both have a hard time getting rid of anything due to sentimental value, so there’s lots of clutter and random objects that other people would usually throw away or not need.
- Having separate closets is honestly pointless, because Tendou somehow ends up with half of Semi’s clothing anyway. Somehow he doesn’t find it as ugly if he’s the one wearing it. Semi is just confused.
- Semi is always confused and trying his best to keep up. That’s just his constant mood as long as Tendou is being Tendou.
- They love to give each other shit constantly, but it’s all in good fun.
- Both struggle with their own insecurities and their ability to express and talk about them with other people, but both are comfortable with talking to each other, so there’s a lot of nights where both are up extremely late having heartfelt and supportive conversations.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST BOY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!
If there were a character limit on tumblr, I’d probably hit it if I sat here and talked about him the way I want to. Three years of birthday art, and every single year I have to take a second to gush about this kid. I’ll keep it short, but he’s helped pull me through the darkest moments of my life, his voice is constantly in my head telling me that I’m doing ok and that things will get better; to just keep my eye on the prize, live for the fun of it, and remember that breaks are both important and okay. In mid-2015, as a student that was failing to find my true passion, I was battling with the question of ‘do I do what I enjoy or do I sacrifice fun in the name of doing what I know will bring me a steady paycheck?”. As risky as it is, Tendou helped me make that decision, and it’s because of him that I am nearly done with my art degree and not stuck with an office job I never wanted. So thank you Tendou. I hope he has a perfect birthday with lots of ice cream and hugs from his friends, because he certainly deserves it. 💜💜💜
