#i adore this scene#because Clark just really isn’t thinking#not in a terrible way per se#he really is just a guy trying to do the right thing#and sometimes that means looking and sounding intimidating#except that he’s saying this to Lex luthor#who already views him as an alien whos character is flimsy at best#Clark is essentially confirming what Lex already believes#that Clark isn’t good#he never was#you only have to stand against him to prove it#and when you do he’ll decide what you deserve#bvs my beloved#superman#Clark kent
