I made 1 very large colored pencil bird in art school 6 years ago. It was the first and last time I used prismacolor pencils, but it turned out amazing and I got a daily deviation on deviantart which seemed pretty darn cool to me. Then I was scared to try them again in case it was a fluke haha.

But I've decided to do a portrait of each of my birds to hang in a frame next to their cage.

So far so good! It's hard to get tons of detail since it's just a bit smaller than 5x7, but I'm proud of the beak!

My smarty pants is just doing her thing. Which is basically desperately doing all she can to get treats.

Very wet chicken sits on high, judging you.

Lots of "it's okay" and "love you" and little kisses. Some dancing.

Jonathan was in the other room getting ready for work and it was scaring her, but I think she was 90% faking being startled for extra attention.

She also makes a strange noise towards the end about 3 times that I'm not really sure what it was. It sounds like "i love you" a bit, but it's hard to tell. Usually I know what she's saying more by the tone and because it sounds like how I say it. But I'm not sure.

She's also been making a noise lately that sounds like "you're weird" but I don't say that to her much so it might be "come here" or "you're bird" because I say it to her more like buuuurd.
