Azriel Appreciation Week: Belonging

For this piece, we really wanted to capture a young Azriel finally finding a place where he belongs. A mother figure to love him as her own, brothers who tease him lovingly not cruelly, a family he chose for himself, and a place to call home. One of the sweetest parts of this piece is the quiet joy and tenderness in Azriel's expression as he looks on his found family.

We can not thank aurithemoon enough for bringing this piece to life for us. She captured everything that we were envisioning in a way only she can. It is such a pleasure and honor to work with someone so talented, so accomplished, and so kind 💙

Liam carving little figurines is such a cute hobby for him to have but also this is Xaden’s brother we’re talking about. That man was carving shit into those little wooden presents and I would bet my life that it was protective runes to keep the people he loved safe in the most subtle and only way he knew how - anyway I’ve managed to break my own heart over it and will be once again crying over Liam Mairi😭

Here’s the thing.. inntinnsics aren’t usually kept alive long enough to find out what their power actually looks like so Xaden’s just guessing he can only read intentions because he only knows what he’s figured out for himself. I don’t think Xaden can only read intentions - I just think they’re the loudest and easiest thoughts for someone who’s untrained in their signet to hear
