Kirishima paused his pencil on the paper as his phone vibrated. He smiled when he spotted the message from you, and quickly grabbed his phone, opening it. This was a frequent occurrence. Memes were usually how the two of you communicated, though of course there were also the normal conversations. He enjoyed all of it--any communication with you whether it was memes, or TikToks, or conversations at midnight about aliens were considered a god send by him.

Kirishima stared at the meme you sent, grinning with his sharp teeth. He also loved how you always referenced them to him. He found it cute and awesome as hell. He typed back a response, all the while grinning like an idiot. After a moment, he was surprised when you didn't send another meme. Instead you sent him a message...one he genuinely hadn't expected.

Hey...can I ask you something?

Kirishima blinked. He hummed to himself, setting his pencil down to stop his work on his homework and focus on you.

Kirishima's face flamed up. Few people knew you two were talking and friends, but those that did teased him about it. Even Bakugo made sarcastic/snide remarks about you and him. When it came down to it, he'd had to admit his crush on you in a game of truth or dare...something he was glad you hadn't heard about. It was a few weeks ago, but he should've known eventually you would learn of it. At this point he cursed his friendship with Ashido.

You swallowed as you sent the text. You were curious about if it was true or not...and you really hoped it was. You had had a crush on Kirishima since the Sports Festival, where the two of you had had a match. He had found you after it and told you how “manly” he thought your strength quirk was. Since then the two of you had grown closer and closer. When Kirishima didn't respond, your heart dropped a little. Maybe it isn't true. Maybe he doesn't like me.

Well...if it was true, not saying it is...what would you do?
