Summary: A chance meeting with a captain in a tavern sends deckhand Killian Jones down a path he never could have expected. They called her “The Peg,” and she was the most beautiful and intimidating woman Killian had ever encountered.

A/N: How is it already August?? I did not intend to sit on this chapter for so long. But anyway, here it is. Smut and feels ahoy.

Take Your Innocence: Chapter 4

Killian enjoys being the captain’s lover. He enjoys the little smiles she gives him, the lingering touch of her lips on his each morning before they leave the sanctuary of her quarters. He especially enjoys cuddling in her bed each night - spooning, Emma called it. He’s not sure if the crew knows about the change in their relationship. They haven’t said anything, at least, though Smee definitely gave him an approving sort of smile and nod after he caught Killian leaving the captain’s quarters one afternoon with his hair tousled even more than usual and his lips swollen from Emma’s ravenous kisses. Killian had felt his face growing hot as the first mate looked at him, but Smee had simply smiled and nodded, almost as if he was proud of Killian, and then he’d carried on as if nothing had happened.

Smee is a good man.

A/N: Thank you all so much for the love you’re showing this incredibly self-indulgent story! This chapter is twice as long as the previous chapter, and we finally start getting into that E-rated territory by the end of it, so enjoy. :D

Take Your Innocence: Chapter 3

Why did he think it was a good idea to agree to this in the first place? The feel of Captain Swan’s body behind him, one of her hands resting on his hip and the other holding his wrist, guiding his hand across his body to grab the hilt of his cutlass, is almost too much. Killian wishes he wouldn’t get so flustered and awkward around her all the time. Gods, she must think him a halfwit, the way he keeps stuttering and blushing and tripping over himself.

Besides, Killian is never going to be brave enough to fight anyone, so there seems little point in learning how to wield a cutlass at all. Learning the star charts had been simple enough. Even overseeing the loading of new supplies, while daunting, made sense to him. But this was something else entirely.

The Captain is saying something to him, but he can’t quite process it, too awash with sensations. Her face is so close to his, almost touching him, her lips right there and his mind is quickly going blank.

“…and turn your wrist, like this…”

Killian’s body obeys entirely on instinct, guided gently by her hand. It’s hard to think of anything else except how it feels to have the captain’s hands on him, even in this innocent way.

“That’s it, very good.” Her praise warms him.

Killian realises, as he tries to focus more on the feel of the cutlass in his hand and less on how the Captain is touching him, that this feels natural and right, like the moves are slowly coming back to him from a long-forgotten memory. And he remembers now, how his father showed him these motions, in what feels like another life. He remembers a stick clutched in his small hand as he clumsily practised his future sword skills under father’s guidance, Liam offering mostly unhelpful advice and their mother smiling from the doorway of their home. I want to be just like you, father, Killian had said. That was all he wanted in life, then, to be strong and brave and protect his family.

That had been a long time ago.

Take Your Innocence: Chapter 2

Killian Jones intrigued her from the moment she caught him watching from across the tavern, his hair falling into his wide eyes and a pink tinge to his cheeks. He looked for all the world like he’d never seen a woman before, and Emma wondered at his history as she sipped her rum. She couldn’t help it; she had always been too curious for her own good. Watching the deckhand - for that’s what he must have been - flinching and cowering at loud noises like a mistreated horse made her want to steal him away. She didn’t know quite why she was drawn to him. He was nice to look at, certainly, but Emma had never felt anything more than carnal desires for a man; nothing like the pull she felt to help this one, to comfort him, to hold him and protect him.

It was this pull that had her following him from the tavern into the night. She tried to tell herself she shouldn’t, but her feet carried her along in his trail anyway. When she found him again, curled up in the mud, taking his beating from the motley crew of thugs without so much as a whimper, Emma knew then that whatever it took, she had to take him away from here.

Blackbeard was a cruel brute of a man, a bully, but beneath his bluster was a coward who couldn’t hold Emma’s cold stare, nor match her sharp tone when she demanded he turn his abused deckhand over to her. She’d offered him more than he thought Killian was worth, and his eyes had bugged out when she tossed the pouch of coins onto his desk. He hadn’t quibbled after that, gleeful as he agreed to let her keep Killian. More trouble than he’s worth, that boy. Honestly I’m glad to be rid of him. Emma hadn’t bothered with a response. All that mattered was taking Killian far away from his tormentor.

He was so nervous, the trauma he’d been put through at Blackbeard’s hands making him afraid of her; although Emma herself had done nothing to warrant his fear. She had to be patient with him, keeping her movements slow, her voice gentle. The first time she’d offered him a choice, it nearly broke him. She’d seen his mind begin to fray in the trembling of his body, the soft panting of his breath as his eyes darted between her and the door. He’d mumbled an apology, frantic and shying away from her, as though afraid of what she would do to him.

I have no posting schedule as I’m still writing this fic, but I couldn’t make myself wait any longer to post this so hopefully, you guys enjoy this little taste of what’s to come. 😏

Take Your Innocence: Chapter 1

Perhaps it is fate that draws Killian Jones to this particular tavern, on this particular night. He certainly doesn’t make a habit of frequenting them - not since that evening the crew convinced him to drink rum for the first time and the resulting rebellion from his body which made him swear off ever drinking it again. I think I’m allergic to it, he’d groaned the following morning, his stomach rolling incessantly as his head pounded with a fierce rhythm. The men had only laughed uproariously at his misfortune, but Killian vowed never again would he subject himself to such a miserable thing. As such, he doesn’t often follow the rest of the men to the taverns, even on the occasions that Captain Blackbeard grants him permission to leave the ship.

But on this night, Killian finds himself at a table with the rest of the crew, turning down the offered rum and wondering why he was putting himself through the humiliation of the men mocking him. He simply wants a warm meal, that’s all; he hopes the quality of the food will be worth the discomfort of waiting for it.

There’s a stir, suddenly, towards the door and Killian is grateful for the distraction. He doesn’t know this crew entering the tavern now, but he can sense the shift in the room - this captain somehow holds the respect of everyone here.

The captain is a woman. It’s not unheard of, though uncommon, but that’s not what has Killian’s lips parting on a soft gasp before he can catch himself.

Killian has never seen a woman so beautiful, yet so clearly dangerous at the same time, and he can’t help his eyes being drawn to her.

“They call her The Peg,” one of the crew whispers to him conspiratorially, “And it’s not because she has a wooden leg.” He winks.

Killian stares blankly back at him in confusion, before turning his eyes to the woman in question. Gods, she is beautiful. Intimidating. Gorgeous. And far above someone of his status. Killian feels a coil of bitterness in his gut and forces himself to look back at his companion.

“Is it because her name is Margaret?”

The man guffaws, loud enough that Killian flinches.

“Oh, lad. I expect you’d be too naive for the likes of her.”
