The key part about using "What, like it's hard?" for motivation is knowing IT IS hard. That Elle struggled the whole time, and worked harder than she ever had. This was all in the face of being bullied, harassed, doubted by everyone she knew, and wasn't seen as anything more than her looks. Yet she persevered and still rose to the challenge to defend her innocent sister, protect the truth, prove her worth and how valuable she was. She even remain true to herself and was almost always consistently dedicated to her new passion.
"What, like it's hard?" YES. It IS hard and you will cry, be scared, doubt yourself and your goals; but more importantly you will make it out on the other end stronger, braver, and smarter than you were. You will get through this and be victorious. You can and will prove how valuable you are / your worth, that you are more than people think you are based on your looks, go through so much but make it look effortless and shove it in the face of the people who doubted and wronged you.
