I like to imagine that while Birdie is in the arctic the second time, they bring an underwater camera. They show Eclipse how to use it and he gets the most STUNNING photos. Or better yet, Birdie will just occasionally spend a few days as a siren to spend time with Eclipse in the glacier dome, and bring their underwater camera. They take selfies and Birdie prints them out on waterproof paper so Eclipse can have pictures of them together in the months when Birdie is away.

That would be absolutely perfect!! A little time in the water with Eclipse—when Y/N decides so—and giving Eclipse a lovely picture so he can have it during the polar night <3
