oops, my hand slipped-

Time out.

It wasn't the first time you'd been down to the tunnels. And just like every other time, something was giving you the heebie jeebies. The dark tunnels smelled vaguely of mildew and rust. How the pizza plex was standing on all this structural damage was truly mind boggling.

"Hooooookay. Just get in, grab the parts and service cart, and then go. Quick and easy." You spoke aloud to help steel your nerves. Your shaking voice betrayed your anxiety. It wasn't that long ago they found Bonnie down here. In pieces. It was hard to look at, knowing how much it must've hurt. You tried your best to not think about how painful it would be for flesh and bone.

You failed.

Every hair on your body was standing at attention, and you picked up your pace as you got closer to the P&S door. Opening it frantically, you finally stopped and took a breather. You're not a runner, but you'd also rather run than walk through the eerie, oppressive, dark hallways. You composed yourself and grabbed the cart.

Double checking all the cords were unplugged and wrapped, you started towards the stairs below the elevators. The cart is heavy but you're still pretty sure you could manage going up step by step. If you hadn't been in the kitchen, you could've taken them down, but your chore list had you scrubbing down the plexiglass in the compactor when you got the ping from Monty. It would really be nice right about now to have just a handful more human coworkers.

Your grunting and pulling would've been embarrassing if anyone had witnessed your struggle getting the cart up the steps.

"AHA! Take that you stupid cart. I have some muscle, it's just a little shy." You flexed your bicep in a show of your non-existent strength. Maybe you shouldn't spend so much time with Monty. If Moon wasn't patrolling right now you'd be the target of his ridicule. You can practically hear his breathy cackle, imagining him poking your sad little arm.

You pressed Monty's elevator button and waited. It never takes long. It only goes to P&S and Monty's room. The loud ding as it arrived startled you slightly. You squeezed yourself and the cart into the elevator, your tummy was lightly brushed as the doors closed. You reached your arm to the up button and pushed it.

Your hand was momentarily zapped as a crackle of purple electricity danced around the button. That was weird. The elevator was slowly moving up as you started a maintenance draft for the elevator. Suddenly, the elevator lurched to a stop. You looked up to the door puzzled. You were stuck halfway, great.

"Just perfect!" You shouted exasperated. You weren't even halfway done with your shift and you'd have to radio Moon.

You grabbed your radio. "Hey Moonie. I uh, im stuck in Monty's elevator." You took your finger of the button and waited in silence for his response.

"Always finding ways to distract me. Do you think it would be possible for you to make it through a shift without me?" His scratchy chuckle ended his sentence. You rolled your eyes. He was right though. It's been almost everyday that SOMETHING happened where you needed his assistance.

"Well how else am I supposed to get you to ask me out?" You teased, "besides you know you like it." Even though he couldn't see you you batted your eyelashes. His response was slow but worth it.

".....Brat." You heard the loud whir of his fans and grinned. Got 'im. "...I'm coming."

You decided to chat him up while you waited.

"So about that daAA-" the elevator lurched downwards and kept moving, "uhm moon is that you?"

"No I just made it to rockstar row, what happened are you okay?" It seemed both of you were on alert.

"The elevator is going back down, it's okay it should stop at parts and service I'll just push it again." You pushed the button again but it didn't light up. Odd.

Something wasn't right. The ride up had been moments, this ride down was taking far too long.

"Moon, the elevator isn't stopping. I thought it only went to parts and service." You felt your heart speed up and he responded instantly.

"Don't get out. When the elevator stops you will stay put. Don't get out until I'm there. I'll take the vents as fast as I can." His voice was stern with an edge of fear. What was down here? What was it he didn't want you to see?

"Moon, am I going into something dangerous? What's...down here?" Your voice shook. You were shaking. Don't think about Bonnie. Don't think about Bonnie.

"Just stay in the elevator." You could hear the vents thudding around him as he did his best to get to you. "Please don't go out there."

Moon had done so much to try and keep you safe. But of course, what should've been a quick and innocent trip to Parts and Service went awry.

He knows what's down there. No matter how much he's tried to forget. The colorful padding. The rust. No...not rust... He shook his head. Almost there. Almost there. He pops out of the vent adjacent to the elevator, not really caring that he ripped it out of the wall.

Empty.

No, no no no no NO! He told you to STAY! He bolts down the corridor slowing only when he seeing the cart on its side not far from the elevator. His eyes catch a glimpse of crimson. If he could be sick, he would be. He's never ran so fast. The strain on his joints hurt but not as badly as the thought of anything happening to you. His vision blurred, his lens cleaner activating with the stress.

No, nothing would happen to you.

He made a promise.

hi this was sitting wip for a little bit oops!! i kinda missed the hype train about eclipse in a suit hello im there now have my eclipse design featuring "How many times can I draw hands loosely interacting with clothing??" Quite a few times, apparently made up loosely on the fly but i aint mad about his colors at all, i think hes quite pretty,,,
