The eagle and snake symbolize two sides of a conflict. Both animals are strong and ruthless, but most often the eagle is seen as the noble side and as a contrast to the snake, which is often represented as bad. Most often in this battle, the eagle, that is, the good side wins.

I’m rewatching Kingdom (🏴☠️) and am in tears.
Humans in this universe are seen as pests. Vermin. Scavengers that eat scraps and are kindve annoying. Like how people view raccoons or rats irl.
And I’m just in tears thinking about how Mae is perceived from the apes POV. Her being able to speak gives off the same level of shock as the humans in Stuart Little when the mouse starts talking. Or when the chef in Ratatouille sees Remy spicing up a dish. Like what the fuck. You’re a rat. How are you doing that.
Noa preparing for mass destruction: “Soona, this is Mae” *gestures to the equivalent of a raccoon*
Soona: ??
Mae, the raccoon in question: “Hello Soona 👋” *proceeds to build a bomb*
Soona: ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Anaya comes over and sees them surrounding a funky little rat thing: “Hello echo 😊👋”

noa mourning his feelings for soona. everything he thought he knew, thought he wanted, no longer even being possible
even before mae, noa was already above average, smart & resourceful. he wants new challenges…. needs them to grow
and he sadly can not do that with soona … or at least it would take much much longer, if at all
and after meeting mae was just the nail in the coffin.. he craved more. wanting to learn everything that there is to know about this new world he has discovered
You know what scene makes me think of Nomae?
When Mae asks Noa if he likes Soona, he goes and tells her that she's a sunset before him. Boy, she asked you if you like her, not her birthday. 😂💕
But that aside, she implied to me that he's fond of her because they grew up together. Does he like her romantically? Mmmm…Idk . But that he likes her in the friendly way,yes.
I get a lot of Katniss and Gale vibes, when she says that everyone expected her to get together with him because they grew up together..and we all know how that turned out 👀✨ (Peeta 💘)
That's another one, Mae represents a tough broad and Noa the gentle guy. Allies, enemies to lovers... Your Honour, I've heard this story before. 👩🏽⚖️😌✨ we've been given a whole platter of Nomae possibilities. And I want to be in the front row to enjoy it😩✨✨
