Why/how many tries did it take?
When you work at a sex toy store for a while, certain questions occur to you. Like, “would it be possible to mount a dildo and a stroker on RC cars, drive them at each other from opposite ends of a tennis court, and somehow get them to meet perfectly?” We realized after a few minutes of trying here in our store that it would be impossible (although if anyone wants to spend the summer trying, please keep us posted). So we scaled back our vision and just tried it with one car and a suction cup dildo (that apparently looks like the front leg of a cat to a lot of people on the internet?) It was really hard to do until we added a ton of lube. Then we succeeded! We don’t know for sure.
It’s our store’s mission to shine a positive light on sexuality and non-toxic, body friendly sex toys, and we thought this would be a good way to share our unique point of view with folks. When your job is to wrangle sex toys all day and answer tons of questions about sexuality, nothing is weird or awkward anymore. This stuff loses all its power to embarrass and shame, and just becomes fun and ridiculous and awesome. You stop being afraid of sex or grossed out or embarrassed, and just start regarding sex toys and sexuality with wonder, respect and joyful amusement.
