Why are people so mad at girls who are okay with themselves. Like damn do you know how many problematic things I’ve had to unlearn? How much self-destructive shit I had to erase from my memory? Sit down with your talk of arrogance and conceit. Don’t patronize someone for feeling confident because you don’t know the process that went into building their self-esteem.
A little table to how to get rid of all that negative self-talk. We have to learn look at the good in situations too, instead of dwelling on things we can’t change- because you know what? We may not be able to change what is happening but we CAN change how we view it!
I’ll say what my psychiatrist once said to me: you can’t control your feelings, but you can control the thoughts behind them. It’s hard—VERY HARD—but sometimes even a simple adjustment of your thinking on a subject can really brighten your mood and overall outlook. Taking chances is scary, but everyone was new at something once and it’s okay not to be perfect every time!
This is… oddly uplifting?
Gonna get my future child ALL of these!

So, you know how special it is when you’re a little girl and you meet your favorite princess, and you ask them for a picture with you, and it feels so magical and special?
Well, I decided to give that magical feeling to little girls dressed as princess (and one little boy dressed as a pirate) all around Magic Kingdom. To make them feel special and beautiful, as ALL little girls deserve to feel.
I would scout out a little princess, ask the parents for permission, and get a photo with the kid. I’d say, “I have been on a princess hunt for a long time, and I haven’t found ANY that were as special and as BEAUTIFUL as you! Can I take your picture with me?”
You. Should. Have. Seen. Their. Faces.
They would literally skip away with their parents after I was done, with the biggest smiles and the brightest eyes. It warmed my heart so much. And the parents were constantly thanking me, telling me how sweet I was, and how nice it was that I was doing this. I will never forget that day as long as I live <3
