That literally makes no sense.. “Asian skin tone”? Like, aside from that being factually incorrect because Asia is a a huge non monolith continent with a gradient of skin tones and cultures.

How does finding a skin tone become appealing because it’s asian, it’s a skin tone. I can find a black and asian person with the same skin tone I can find a white and an Asian person with the same skin tone? I can find two Asian people with different skin tones than each other. His post was a fail, just like his life.

the mindy project is the worst

ugh the mindy project’s last episode on racism. mindy kaling seems to interpret race like a white woman. all her jokes basically lampooned race and concerns about racism, not racism itself, in that way that white people find edgy. it reeked of the panic that white people feel at even mentioning race, and did not challenge anything at all but instead trivialized the impact of racism as everyone being too pc. that one point when her co-star says he’s not a racist because he’s slept with every race of woman… and this is not used to undermine him, but actually leads to the resolution of the show in which they get to be not racist. wtf
