According to ABC 15:

The video shows Rossi manhandling her until her towel falls off where he then pretends he is surprised she is naked.

He handcuffs her, but then eventually handcuffs her, figuring his contempt-of-cop castigation was all the lesson she needed to learn how to properly respect cops.

But the woman filed a complaint with internal affairs, which determined he did a number of things wrong, including forcing himself into her home.

So rather than wait to get disciplined or possibly fired, Rose simply retired where he remains eligible for his pension.

Florida police murder black computer engineer as he listens to music; attempted coverup exposed

On July 31st, 2013, Jermaine McBean, an experienced 33 year old computer engineer with no criminal record whatsoever, paid $100 for a camouflage BB gun at his local pawn shop. As he walked to his home with his headphones on, listening to music, he was shot and killed by police in Oakland Park, Florida - after they claimed he ignored their requests to put down his weapon and then aimed the gun, which was empty, at them in an aggressive manner.

The cop who shot McBean got an award during the investigation.

Now, nearly two year later, it turns out the police told multiple lies in attempt to cover up their senseless murder of Jermaine.

Lie #1: The officer who shot and killed Jermaine, Deputy Peter Peraza, said multiple times that he saw nothing in the ears of Jermaine McBean.

A transcript shows that Deputy Peter Peraza, who fired the fatal shots, repeatedly told sheriff’s investigators that he did not see anything in McBean’s ears.Nothing, the officer swore under oath, prevented Mr. McBean from hearing the screaming officers.

Truth: The headphones are clearly in Jermaine’s ears in a picture taken by a nurse who lived in the neighborhood.

Also, according to the NY Times, the deputy who shot him, Peter Peraza, said he had feared for his life, convinced that Mr. McBean was about to start firing. Deputy Peraza was asked at least five times whether there was any reason that Mr. McBean would not have heard the officers’ commands, such as whether there was anything in his ears. Each time, Deputy Peraza said no.

For anyone that still does not know, this is why we don’t trust THE POLICE, in a broad sense, rather than just “a few bad apples.” However nice that one cop you know or are related to is, the police as an institution favors those bad apples. Likely because to do otherwise would undermine their authority.

If the institution on a whole were worthy of trust or respect, these (common, for black people) incidents would see swift justice, or at least some justice. But instead we get no-charges-filed, and constant no-indictments, and delayed, years-long “ongoing investigations” that don’t hold anyone fully accountable.

Because as a general rule the police either protect their own or risk facing the consequences.
