Y'all can’t handle a woman when she doesn’t need male approval to feel valid. You can’t stand for your gaze and erection to be taken as an offense. You cannot tolerate a woman not bending to your desire to know what her vaginal lining feels like. It makes you far too uncomfortable when she says, “I can do it myself”. You feel emasculated, right? Funny thing is, there seems to be no words for the constant degradation, humiliation, and rejection women deal with. It’s funny how hurting someone’s inflated ego can be seen as an insult to their manhood. WOW, what a world we live in, where women are dragged through the mud for saying yes, and dragged through the mud for saying no. Emasculation is a concept created to keep women from telling you to fuck off. Frankly, women, especially black women have their femininity questioned daily, or integrity and sense of respect is always being demeaned if it doesn’t please the black male machismo. Bell Hooks addresses this numerous times, and it breaks my heart that I have to see black women ridiculed daily. Why can’t I be proud that I have my own car, I love Beyonce, I have degrees, I have my own… and coming from a place of severe child abuse and sexual abuse, homelessness, and mental hospitalization for numerous suicide attempts, I will pound my fucking chest in the name of my accomplishments, because I worked fucking hard to get here. If I seem cold and distant, I don’t want you. The notion that I and women like me, are “Busting balls”, is completely insulting. We climbed over every obstacle to get here, to have our achievements, why not want for a partner who understands and appreciates it, a partner that know that they need to be a plus to your life, because you’ve walked thousands of miles to get here and you won’t let some low standard having, lame, ignorant fuck who thinks “suits are for lames” come fuck it up…. Rant done.
