… and I appreciate the same sex parents in it with all my heart, but what got to me the most (which surprised even myself) was how much I needed to see a single mother receive a baby by the storks.
I want to have children in the future, but I do not want to give birth. Nor do I desire to get married or even necessarly get a partner. So to me it was really powerful to witness a single parent “adopt" and have it be seen as a completely valid life-choice. <3
