I'm kind of happy that they're not doing it because, with that mindset, they'll find some way to make it stereotypically racist. I'd rather someone else pick it up. But then again, Marvel is huge and I'm sure there's someone there who isn't racist, white privilege-y, and a great storyteller working with these jags.
