The Witch Chronicles is an anthology series of audio short dramas that takes place in the world of Teramor, the same setting that the Witch and the Orchard is based in. The series follows various characters throughout the world- as they tell their stories.

Gilear is Jacked

Ok, so Gilear has a strength score of 10. In DnD, the way they calculate your carrying capacity is by multiplying your stength score by 15, which equals the weight in lbs you can carry. So Gilear can carry up to 150lbs which is 68KG, roughly his own body weight.

However your total lifting capacity, as in what is the heaviest weight you could lift without having to roll a strength or athletics check, is your strength score multiplied by 30. So Gilear, with a strength score of 10, can lift 300lbs which is roughly 136KG.

That’s almost double his body weight. A whole keg of beer weights like half of what Gilear could lift. Gilear could lift a baby elephant. Gilear could lift a Gorilla. Gilear is strong

there’s something really comforting about Brennan’s world being like “people when they die aren’t actually gone, they’ve just moved to a different plane” which is great when you’re thinking of loved ones who’ve passed.

however Riz is totally right to be paranoid considering the fact “your enemies aren’t really dead, they’ve just moved to a different neighbourhood” is a thing

Is anyone else sad we didn’t get a Gilear cameo?

Slaad’s are pretty freaky. Some Slaads have this ability that if they knock you out/kill you- you become a Slaad. Similar to how the aliens in District 9 work.

However Red Slaads, the least powerful Slaad’s, have this ability that if thy claw you the victim must make a DC 14 Con Save. On a fail the victim is implanted with a Slaad egg. The egg acts as a disease and if that disease isn’t cured, the victim becomes severely weakened and in three months the egg will grow into a Slaad tadpole and burst out of the chest out the victim Xenomorph style- killing the victim immediately.
