The Legendary Edition looks so fucking good!! Honestly my only gripe is that we can’t gaymance Kaidan in 1. I read the reasoning and I get how it would make sense with Ashley, but not for Kaidan. You’re not really changing any story elements since endgame Kaidan is legitimately mlm, so why not just let him be from the beginning? And if it’s a slow burn type of philosophy then make that apparent in the dialogue and I just really want to sleep with Kaidan in 1 without breaking my laptop which I know is kind of petty but if I’m gonna die alone at least let me have this
god same but I have a feeling the mshenko romance was added due to pressure and wasnt intended from the beginning. I dont think bioware plans on doing/changing storylines for the remaster which is why we might still only get mshenko romance in me3

I made a playlist a couple years ago about my shawson spy au! Basically its an au where Miranda is a spy/diamond thief and Jane is the detective sent to hunt her down (but the fall in love)
anyway how to make your mass effect playthrough extra sad is during the last conversations with jeff, make them argue so he acts cold with you right until the last scene where he salutes shep. So that the last memory he will (potentially) have with shep is one where they left on bad terms, and the end sequence where he tries to save shep but gets stopped will hit VERY hard

It’s cool! I’m always down for people shipping their sheps with some the people you can’t romance tbh. We can’t help that they just have chemistry 😤
Personally, I’m really picky about who I want to romance with shepard, just cause I feel a lot of her relationship with her crew kind of.... feels imbalanced? Basically, I like romancing people who I think can go toe to toe with shep? I know that’s definitely different based on everyones perceptions though.
And for Ashley, she kind of feels like my daughter so I don’t really like shipping her with my sheps. But I love shipping her with tali. I think Ashley and Tali would’ve made a reaallly good pairing. I love the idea that Shepard’s actions would’ve affected Ashley most of all, so I see her as Shepard’s apprentice and someone who will carry Shep’s legacy as a spectre. And just really love the idea that she’d fall in love with someone like Tali (maybe they meet in political meetings), somebody headstrong like her, but also someone she can have fun and have a laugh with.
just looking at garrus references and i am reminded once again of just how much i do NOT want to fuck garrus (or turians)
