Honestly Aaron should have expected all the drama of his college years if this was his inspo for being a doctor.
The way I view Neil and Aaron's friendship (the eventual one at least) is that both of them would likely take a bullet for the other (they would rationalize it as being for Andrew but that is not the whole truth) but whoever took the bullet would absolutely 100% never let the other one forget about it and will bring it up at any and all opportunities to bring it up.
Aaron: Neil can you get me the remote?

So we know that Andrew and Aaron have to have the same hair cut, otherwise it would have been instantly obvious who was who. So which one of them chose the hair cut? Did Andrew get whatever Aaron had when he got out of juvie? Did Aaron match his to his new brother’s? Did they both decide to change to a new one?
They independently keep getting the same haircut on accident but refuse to admit it. Since then they’d have to deal with it being a twin telepathy thing because they know how insufferable everyone (See: Nicky) would be. So the better option is to just say they trade off on who gets to pick the cut.
Brain is currently locked on the insane dynamic of MTF Aaron Minyard (Erin Minyard) and FTM Neil Josten.

just thought about aaron going to class for the first time after the trial. like it finishes on a friday and he has to walk into a biology class on monday and act like nothing happened, and act like they haven’t all been talking about him and his brother all week, like they haven’t all been debating whether or not their classmate is a cold blooded murderer or not. did he silence the room when he walked in? did anybody even know what to say?
The more time I spend writing AFTG fan fiction the more I realize how desperately want Neil & Aaron friendship content. They both are in such desperate need of a friend who'll absolutely call them on their shit and take zero shit from them.
I can't believe that, in New Kings, you had Aaron say that Andrew loves Neil and that Andrew wouldn't or couldn't even deny it.

This is a man who has watched Andrew and Neil live their lives together for years at this point. He was also married for quite some time before everything happened, he knows what love looks like.
Andrew might not have ever said it, but he also won't deny it. Also very hard for him to deny it considering the everything going on.

headcanon that many years post canon, when aaron is already a doctor and has like coworkers and stuff, a patient recognizes him (realisticly they would confuse him with andrew but i want it to be a hard core fox fan remembering the good old times), so his work friends google him cause aaron never told them shit and they are like "aaron, wtf, you are Just A Regular Guy™️, what do you mean you have a fucking mURDER CHARGE??"
Like the thought that none of them really knew much about his undergrad days / Collegiate Exy career or even much about his pro athlete brother / brother-in-law / hypochondriac friend who calls him all the time and Aaron exhaustedly brings pictures of Kevin’s various benign moles (once it was a chocolate chip that Andrew attached to him with glue while he was sleeping) to the hospital dermatologist.
Every discovery about Aaron’s life resulting in his co-workers neeeeeeding to take him out for a drink for the whole story. Except Aaron doesn’t really talk about his friend’s and family’s shit so it’s just “Josten’s a bitch, I too have felt inclined to throttle him. I almost understood Riko in that moment.”

Part of Kevin wants to pull Aaron off and tell Andrew that he's not going without him. Tell him that they'll find Neil together.
A larger part of Kevin knows what he has to say.

Seth shuts up for the most part but does grumble. Aaron goes after his brother while Kevin and Nicky stay behind trying to engage in a conversation without talking about not only the huge elephant in the room but the absence of another one.
They pack food for the twins and head up only to meet Aaron and Andrew in the hallway.
"Kevin, you have to help me stop him." Aaron pleads face red with effort as he tried to stop Andrew's progress forward.

"Andrew, are you going to eat?" Aaron prods and Andrew takes his fork and knife, looks down at the meal that Aaron had grabbed for him. It's just spaghetti and meatballs but Andrew's face transforms into a scowl as he slams the fork down into the pile of pasta.
It shatters under the weight of his anger.
"Christ Andrew what did the spaghetti do to you?!" Dan demands wiping her pants from where the pasta sauce had splattered.
"He's just a psycho Dan, nothing new." Seth remarks.
As far as they can tell Andrew only gets up once throughout the entire day and he doesn't say a single word as he wanders off into the bathroom to relieve himself. Aaron stands by the door anxiety in his face as he listens to make sure that all Andrew is doing is relieving himself.
It's almost a relief the next day when Renee comes in and takes Andrew somewhere.
They come back hours later both looking worse for wear. Renee sits gingerly at dinner and Andrew has a black eye but he still doesn't say a word.

Kevin joins Nicky in helping clean up while Aaron gets Andrew into bed. The other Minyard not saying a single word the entire time they were milling about cleaning. "He needs to sleep it off." Is all Aaron will say when he comes back out.
They clean what they can up and in the morning Andrew won't get up from his bed and not even Kevin has the heart to try and make him. Matt comes with them to help them get supplies from Home Depot to fix their walls and when they get back Andrew is in the same spot, only the slow rising and falling of his chest indicating life.
Aaron and Nicky try and be quiet pretending as if Andrew is merely sleeping and not laid low by the lack of Neil.
