Chapter 5

He’s late.

Unusually so.

Especially because he’s just won the last match of the season, and thereby the Quidditch Cup. But he’s not back in the common room for the party—as is customary— and it has been two hours since she last saw him and she really wants to see him and snog the living daylights off of him.

Lily is sitting by the nearest armchair to the door of the common room, so that she can be the first one to greet him— or like Sirius had put it, ‘jump his bones’— but he isn’t here yet.

Chapter 4: Cheek Kiss

Prompt given by the lovely @abihastastybeans . Also for @jilytoberfest ‘s prompt 30

Lily’s ears ring with the deafening chorus of cheers.

The entire stadium is overcome with joy— minus a few Slytherins and Hufflepuffs— as James scores another goal and the Gryffindor seeker catches at the same moment. It doesn’t need saying that she is also one of the people screaming their heads off from where she’s sitting with her mates at the top of the stands.

Inspired by the book ‘The summer of broken rules’ by K. L. Walther

Honestly? I’m making this up as I go. The plot I took the time intricately plan out, isn’t plotting much. So, here we are! I hope you enjoy this. I’m also trying to incorporate all the 31prompts in this fic so… let’s see haha

Summary: Basically, James and Lily are basically going to be participating in a huge game of Assassin while falling in love with each other 😌

Butterflies and Beetles

“Wait, there’s a butterfly on your nose.”

“You think I CAN’T SEE THAT?” He shouts, still laying down, trying to neither touch it nor do something about it other than flail his hands.

“It’s a big black beetle, you fool,” Sirius, his so called best mate coolly says from where he’s seated on the grass.

“James, wear your glasses, for god’s sake.” His other best mate, whom he had thought was the good one, responds without even looking up from his book.

“I’m wearing my contacts, you oaf!”

“I think you got the wrong prescription then, mate.”

James grunts in response.

“It’s a butterfly, don’t worry. It’ll go away.” Lily brings up her index finger and James can only watch entranced, as the butterfly (yes, it is a butterfly, thank you very much, Sirius) hops over to her hand.

He swears he’s never seen a more beautiful sight.

Never Saw You Coming (Never Be The Same)

Summary: Carried you back to the dorms 3 months ago because you were drunk and you accidentally professed your love to me and I fell for you. It’s 3AM in the dead of winter and someone pulled the fire alarm off because of their god-awful cooking and I’m being very vocal about how I’m gonna make her pay

Written mainly for my amusement. But then, the second part of the fic coincided with a @jilychallenge prompt, so… yeah. Thank you to @startanewdream and @majormaybe1 for helping me out with this fic a lot! And to @thequibblah for coming up with the title. She’s a title genius. You heard it first from me. A huge thank you to @efkgirldetective and @theresthesnitch @theesteemedladydebourgh @crimson-snitch @blitheringmcgonagall for tagging me on this! Finally made me visit all my older wips so as to form a proper list.

1. I will finish all the multi-chapters that I have started! Chances, Let your heart beat, And, we love are all going to be completed within the next year!

2. GET BETTER AT WRITING DESCRIPTIONS! PEOPLE DONT JUST TALK! THEY MOVE THEIR HANDS AND FACES AND BODIES AS WELL, JOY!

3. Get better at coming up with titles as well.

4. FINISH all my half written fics! ESPECIALLY the lawyer’s au that I’ve been working on a REALLY along time.

5. Draw more jily! And marauders! And another fandom as well 😉

6. INTERACT with people and read other’s fics

7. Stop deleting my writing and drafts of drawings that I make.

8. Become a better writer. Better than I am today.

9. Most of all, I want to stop caring about what others think of my work. What will matter to me will only going to be my opinion.

10. HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY!

“This isn’t what it looks like.”

“Was anything you said real?!”

“Well, there is a pool of chocolate right there.” I point to the far end of the Gryffindor common room, where there, indeed, is a pool of chocolate about twenty feet wide.

“You scared me, Lily!”

“Hey! You brought this upon yourself!” I jab the same finger at my boyfriend’s chest. God, he’s fit.

“How?! You were the one who told me that my best friends are drowning!”

“I also specified that they’re drowning in a chocolate pool!” I can feel my voice start to raise a little, gaining the attention of our friends.

Let your heart beat

Idk why this chapter took so long :/ But I have half of the other chapters ready, so maybe I can stick to updating it weekly?
Summary: For as long as she can remember, her family has always gone on a cruise to different places on the very same ship every summer. And there was a messy-haired boy, along with his family, always seeming to accompany her just to annoy her to her wits end. What she will not admit is that she rather likes it. And she wants- no, needs this year’s cruise will be the best one of them all.

And THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for all the birthday wishes! You guys are awesome

Chapter 3 - Istanbul (Day 1)

Lily finds Sirius leaning against the railing a few feet away from her and quietly moves to stand beside him.

Sirius is the first one to break the silence.

“Istanbul.” He whispers. Lily turns her head and raises her eyebrows. “There is some magic in the name, don’t you think?” Says Sirius. Instead of waiting for an answer, he continues. “Anything can happen here.”

“Anything?” Her incredulity is evident.

“Anything,” he solemnly swears.

“Are you going to be doing a philosophy major in uni?”

“Now, now, I can’t divulge all the answers of the universe, then, can I?”

“So, was that a yes?”

“You are allowed to think whatever you feel like.”

“I think that I’ve got my answer.”

A beat passes.

“Istanbul,” they corrus together, laughing.
