I can now do 24 half push ups or what ever you want to call them! Two weeks ago I could barely do 5 :D
A solid workout tonight at the gym! Half an hour doing the strength program on the elliptical followed by a hatha yoga class for an hour and a half! 🙏

I was tagged by deartreadmill to post a progress photo set for 2014, so here it is! 1&2 (March): my first outdoor run of the year, I was stoked!! 3(June): my first charity run, The Law Day 5k 4(June): my muscles were starting to really show after 3 months dedicated to running and mini strength workouts 5-7(July to Aug): pictures from the wonderful hikes I did this summer, including climbing a mountain! 8&9(September): the 2 running PR's that I am SUPER proud of. I beat my 10k record 3 times in a month 💪 10(Halloween): after 10months of working my butt off, I look damn good, and decided to show it off! I'd like to take a moment to compare my progress over the last 12 days. The first photo is from August 14th, I did a river trail run and it took 30min6sec at a 6min50sec/km pace. The second photo is from tonight (the 26th), same route but waaay better time and pace. 25min47sec to complete the trail at a pace of 5min52sec/km pace!! Now that's what I like to see! 46/60km ran for August ✅

My progress for 2014 so far!! (January to April to August) I'm so proud of how far I've come this year after gaining back over 30lbs last fall. Now I'm leaner, healthier, and I can run way faster than I ever could! And! I just happened to weigh myself this AM, 172lbs!!! Down another 3lbs over the last month✅👍 and those extra 30lbs I gained are officially lost👯
As my body shrinks, my skin looks worse and worse. My belly button is starting to frown :( haha
But that will not keep me down! Because do you see what I see?! Some upper abs showing through there, got that centre line thingy.. Woooo!! 👏😹
I've always heard people make jokes about how they have abs but they're just covered by layers of fat. Well I seriously think I have some nice abs underneath all this skin! Look at that definition despite my fat and saggyness!! I'm so happy :)
