During the convention last weekend Sam asked me to draw something from Journey, so as part of her Valentine’s day present I thought this would be a cool gift! I spent a long time trying to replicate the pattern in the protagonist’s scarf, and I had to include a second character in the background, because journeying together is one of the coolest parts of the game! She’s allowing me to sell prints because she’s super cool, so I popped those up here:https://www.etsy.com/listing/269438572/journey-print?ref=shop_home_active_1
for a game that’s supposed to be calm and mostly relaxing to play, journey is strangely depressing and melancholy watercolour textures used, from rosalarian.com
‘Journey’ game bottle charm necklace. All bottle charm necklaces £10. Message me if you’re interested in a purchase. I also take custom orders.
journey! This game is near and dear to my heart, so it took me a long time to get the courage to finally do fanart for it that I felt was worthy.
the final version has a mix between no-glow and lots of glow, but I thought it was interesting to see these two versions together. I am a little sad I ended up covering up all the scarf rendering hahhaha whoops

30 DAY CHALLENGE // DAY FIFTEEN // SOMEONE FROM YOUR FAVORITE VIDEO GAME
If you are involved with art in any way, please check out Journey. I had a one night stand with it. My eyes are all pregnant now. I don’t regret it.
The game has you journeying through ruins and a barren environment. By contrast, I wanted to show the juxtaposition of life still thriving.
My submission for the Fifth House Ensemble Journey art contest.
This was a tough one; three days of work, and it kicked my ass as much as I kicked its. Still, never a bad reason to pay tribute to this gem. Since I will not be able to actually attend the JourneyLIVE experience, this seems like a nice way to connect with it.
Credit where credit is due though - the clever twist on the game’s title was (sadly :P) not my own idea, and I have to credit KBABZ from DevianrART for coming up with the genius concept of the glyph font that I humbly borrowed and adapted here.
And lastly, if any of you guys dig it, here’s a wallpaper resolution for the heck of it.
This was @PIXELRITUAL’s lunch time doodle on Friday. Great job. :D

It was my friend’s birthday… quite a while ago, actually. But this was for her card!
Journey is possibly the sweetest game I have ever played.
Austin Wintorys “I was born for this” combined with screensaver animations
the idea to this vid was born when I came back one day from taking a short break to find a little reddy opening the bridge in BB while the screensaver was playing on my screen … it was the most magical thing to watch
thank you thatgamecompany for this beautiful game which, even after 3 years, never ceases to surprise me
