And more specifically, he quoted "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?", one of the phrases spoken during Jesus's Crucifixion. Not to mention the whole "impaled while on a cross-like position" thing

The conclusion of season 5 was crazy and asagiri whether intentional or not was crazy for it. whilst fukichis plot was to create a united “we” amongst humanity. and in the little community of bsd enjoyers he literally united the manga readers and anime watchers under one united want to see the ending, creating a united “we” .
