The Birdcage (1996) dir. Mike Nichols
This moment in monster factory is a gem:
- Justin’s memory of a nonexistent meme
- Griffin’s utter confusion
- Clayton captioning his thoughts
- The Oscar bait cutscene of the search for the ‘how I make bread’ guy
- Griffin’s lawn mower laugh
Just *chef’s kiss*
how i make bread is real and justin is 100% spot on it’s incredible

i don't exactly "ship" Kuchiki Byakuya and Zaraki Kenpachi, but i do firmly believe that each of them has jacked off thinking about the other and felt tremendous self-loathing after
just some guys being dudes.
i think i might've accidentally deleted all the comic book files i downloaded back in the mediafire heyday and i can probably replace them but it'll be a pain in the ass. like i think originally i had the whole Midnighter continuity in one folder after downloading them all from one convenient masterpost, and that just isn't the age we live in anymore :/
and when i say accidentally deleted, i think i may have deleted it from at least two separate backup drives, bc i was convinced i had it backed up on different ones
I (inexplicably third culture kid at times) grew up eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch every day because my mother is normal, and all my English friends were rude about them despite literally never having tried one because "ough it just sounds gross." Anyway I want to see if this is a trend beyond children from southern England.
NOTE TO PEOPLE WHO MAY NOT KNOW - JELLY IN THIS CASE MEANS JAM, NOT JELLO-TYPE FOOD - MANY OF MY PEERS WERE NOT AWARE OF THAT.
Something that I have noticed is I know almost nobody my age that goes to a food pantry. I know people who regularly run out of money for food and in general have to eat an unsuitable diet because that’s what they can afford and they still don’t go to a food bank, im not sure if it’s because they’re embarrassed or maybe if you didn’t grow up going you don’t know much about it but if you’re financially struggling I really recommend it. And look into other options for food assistance too like community fridges and gardens and other programs that can assist you, where I live Salvation Army pays for an allotted amount of grocery delivery for low income people every month, in the summer farmers take excess produce to the library to be taken by anyone who needs it, etc. There are a LOT of resources for free food that you can look into especially if you are literally not eating because of your financial situation
Btw if you have dietary restrictions you can often let them know and in many cases they’ll prioritize certain items for you
- Global map of community fridges
- Urban Harvest - global foraging maps
- Food Not Bombs Global Chapter Locations (mostly vegan!)
- USA - Find your local food bank
- USA - Meals on Wheels free or reduced cost food delivery (age usually 60+, check your specific area's eligibility

I have never read a more excellent article
This is a great take and I would like to adopt “Feelings Yakuza” in English actually, I feel like it conveys the whole thing way more obviously than “anti” (not to mention the muddled meaning of “proshipper”).
To avoid harassment, EA and SEA artists have started pre-emptively blocking users with "proship DNI" or any variation thereof in their profiles as a result of this article and said feelings yakuza are getting pissed that their DNIs are being hard enforced by the other side. How very dare.
I’m screaming with laughter at the actual Japanese term, o-kimochi yakuza. The “o” is an honorific indicator to indicate how prissy and self-important these people are being.
I don't know if Maromi intended this to be the incredible takedown that it is, but I couldn't not share it:
