Absolutely loved this episode, definitely one of my faves so far.
Hill Top Road is still doing its thing. I hear about it and know I should feel a sense of foreboding but instead all I can think about is why that hill in particular attracted the rift in reality/the entities. Was it a particularly evil looking hill? Were the vibes off? I don't know. All I do know is that is is catnip for the evil fear gods. Hope no one dies in the next episode and maybe they'll see a spider :)
so who else is screaming about everything we learned today
Okay so, I can’t do any of my usual lengthier back to back discussion posts because unfortunately the war has struck me (intense migraine), however I just want to point out the manner in which Augustus was speaking in Jonah’s letter sounded so much like Jonah in terms of infliction and tone it threw me for a loop.
Him reading Jonah’s letters, considering the JMJ theory, is absolutely significant.
Welcome back Jonah Magnus!
I also find it interesting how different this Jonah is from TMA!Jonah in terms of his paranormal experiences. TMA!Jonah was already well with the Eye and familiar with the fears by the 1820s, but TMAGP!Jonah’s first direct encounter is in the 1840s, and now we also have direct confirmation he was involved with this dive into Alchemy and The Great Work…
Anyway, I should probably lie down!
Oh so now im seeing parallels between Micheal Shelley and Archibald Cameron and sobbing. Both young and eager to help, considered soft, how quickly they both agreed to what had been asked of them
“Maybe I just woke up on the right side of the bed this morning?” Oh you mean Celia’s bed don’t you?
