I'm surprised no one has done gif parallels of Vi and Powder when they're both being abandoned. The angles are so similar. The camera even zooms out from the perspective of the person abandoning them.

Idk if this is a hot take or if I’m an apologist but Maximus admitting that he wanted that to happen to Dane doesn’t necessarily make him a bad person to me. And I don’t think it’s as terrible as it sounds. I definitely think it was more of an intrusive thought. Maybe he entertained the idea when he was having an emotional outburst over the news. Or when it actually happened he might’ve had the brief moment of elation. But from what I gathered of Max after watching the show, he was probably ashamed afterwards and was like “I’m not supposed to have these thoughts”.
