stop showing geralt be so cool and suave and competent. i wanna see him trip over a bedroll and go tumbling down a hill. i wanna see him fighting by a river and the monster smacking him with its tail and him going flying into the water. his sword gets caught under the water and he can't get out. i want jaskier regaling ciri and yennefer with stories from when they were on the path like about the time geralt spent three days climbing a mountain after a monster only to get to the top and find out it was actually the mountain next to it (jaskier waited in the town at the bottom and howled with laughter when he saw him come sweating down the first mountain). i want yennefer to laugh about the time geralt got the laces of his shirt tangled in his hair and she had to magic him out of it (once she'd stopped laughing). ciri needs to know how cringe fail her dad is. yennefer and jaskier need to bully their bf
No but honestly. Give me Geralt with his cheesy jokes, with his stupid one liners. Gimme Geralt who dismounts roach next to a fence and gets stuck on it. Give me Jaskier, Ciri, and Yen watching as Geralt taunts monsters in the most ridiculous way. Show me Geralt getting stuck in doorways bc of his armour and swords. Give me roach refusing to walk on bc of a rock in the middle of the road, so Geralt dismounts and kicks it only to shout and cradle his foot bc it is rooted in the ground. That rock will not be moved and now his toes hurt.
This man could absolutely catch a dagger mere inches from his face, yet he is also just as capable as slipping on a river bank and getting pulled back in to the current.
