Contact sheets of photos taken of John and Paul by David Bailey on 21st January 1965, for his ‘Box of Pin Ups’ project, a portfolio of 36 portraits of ‘Swinging London’s’ elite, who as the cover stated, ‘belong to Bailey’s own world of fashion, pop music and the Ad Lib [nightclub]’. Other icons in the collection included Micheal Caine, Jean Shrimpton, Mick Jagger and Ronnie and Reggie Kray.

David Bailey is a bit of a knob who didn’t like Paul and was imo projecting that onto John.

right? but it’s so weird he would stick to this “yeah I had to tell John to close his eyes and look away because they were so uncomfortable with each other” (or whatever the hell his point is) when…..this very same photoshoot contains the cuddle photos. like, does he think we’re dumb and slanting the story on purpose thinking we won’t notice? or is HE just really dumb, and telling himself lies that suit his ego?? I dont get it

Oh they also got to choose their own poses for the photos and he just gave insight and made them move a bit so they themselves decided “why don’t we just cuddle real quick how bout that”
