Part of me hopes Stucky is a real romance and part of me doesn't because I think it would do many, many straight men a lot of good to see two straight "badass" guys showing strong emotions toward each other. That it's not, to quote Chelsea Handler, "a little gay" for them to act the way they do, that it's freaking human to act like that, and they should act like that because they love each other, period, regardless of sexual attraction. Know what I mean?
I absolutely know what you mean. I think that’s part of why I will happily sail aboard the Stucky ship, but I also love to read (and sometimes write) the two of them as just really close friends. I guess I’m just not a fan of forcing the relationship to be explicitly defined because it is an amazingly beautiful relationship to see in any context.
Honestly at this point I just want the two of them together, alive, and happy. I’m not at all picky about which version of together it happens to be.
