AN : Next Chapter is the last one !

Game Eleven – Saving

Everyone is running. Some people are yelling; others are trying to create smoke by putting everything they can find into the fire. Everyone is restless.

The boat is huge. It looks like those cruise ships, with a swimming pool and big dining rooms. You don’t know what to do with yourself, the weather is pretty bad and it looks like rain is going to invite itself soon.

“Are you okay?” Taeyong is abnormally calm. He isn’t trying to make the camp more noticeable and doesn’t seem to be looking for his friends either. From the corner of your eye, you see them yelling and shaking their arms in the air.

Only you two are stuck. “Yes. Did they see us?” You can’t believe it. Is this going to be over soon? You glance at Taeyong, whose face shows nothing but disappointment.

“I don’t know.” He answers, jumping when your hand finds his hair. “They probably did.”

As if hearing him, a big noise startles all the camp.

One of the elderly men yells. “It’s the boat’s whistle!”

Game Ten - Enjoying

It’s a different type of survival.

It’s wrapped into cotton, soft and sweet and cuddly. You go to sleep feeling complete and wake up mesmerised.

And it’s all thanks to Taeyong. He doesn’t change much but gets more obvious. There’s no hiding when he wraps his arms around your neck in the middle of the beach, no blushing when he pecks your lips, no embarrassment when he takes care of yet another bruise on your body.

It’s surprising.

Taeyong feels at ease with this situation, like he expected it to happen and was preparing himself to become a perfect boyfriend. Come to think of it, he has been doing the same thing when you were on your own in that jungle, minus the kisses.

Summary : A deserted island and no hope left. There is only despair and this boy, Lee Taeyong, who seems to be the only survivor. You both were on the flight KAL134, from Auckland to Seoul. Words : 3802

Game Nine - Longing -

You suppress a gasp, not because you’re surprised but because you didn’t know.

You didn’t know how good it would feel to hear these words from him.

Taeyong was about to get up and leave again but your hand grabs his in a swift motion. He barely has the time to tell you to be careful of your injury.

He barely has the time to do anything before he finds himself into your arms. You’re crying, so loudly.

“Does it hurt that much?” he breathes, bewildered.

You chuckle and it sounds like a sob but it doesn’t matter. You let everything out, from the frustration of being locked in a deserted island to the guilt which takes over you as you finally understand how Taeyong feels.

“No, it’s not about that.” You try to articulate between tears and sniffs, the relief so strong it makes you feel exhausted. “I’m so sorry. I’m so damn sorry, Taeyong.”

Game Eight - Treasuring -

You are a mess. Tears are flowing down your face in frustration, guilt and sadness. They mix with dried blood and turn you into a wounded puppy, helpless.

Is everyone gone? Are they dead? You can’t stop crying, head throbbing because of the intense sobbing.

“Hey, calm down. It’s over.” Taeyong didn’t let go of you and is still trying to calm you, but you can’t stop. Not when Timothy probably died. Not when so many people might die because they wanted to survive.

You didn’t approve of their plan nor agreed with their decision but it doesn’t mean they deserved to die.

“They might die! I should have stopped everyone; I should have done something!” Your screams are muffled into his clothes as you plunge further against a shockingly calm Taeyong.

He lets you repeat the same sentences over and over again, until your voice turns raspy and you can’t find your own breath.

You lift your head, leaving behind you the traces of a sorrowful moment on his tee-shirt but he doesn’t even care.

Game Seven : Missing

“You’re alive! I thought you were dead, I thought I’d never see you again!” Timothy didn’t waste any time and pulled you out of the beach so you could both talk. He looks overwhelmed, shocked, but mostly happy to see you before him, healthy and breathing.

You’re stuck, shock getting the best of you and blocking any kind of reaction. You don’t know how to speak anymore, mouth shut and eyes wide. You let your boyfriend grab your shoulder, his eyes moist.

“Are you okay? Where were you all this time?” He shoots questions, not even caring about your initial shock. He lifts a hand to let it rest on your cheek. “I’m so relieved, Y/N.”

You lift your head, gaze landing on his overwhelmed face. Only one thing crosses your mind, one thought, just one little thing which makes you opaque to any sort of feelings.
You had completely forgot about Timothy.

Game Six : Breathing

Mark runs back at full speed while the tall guy kneels, the sobs surprising you in the middle of panic.

He then turns to you and stares for a long time, his legs fidgety. He stops moving, fresh tears staining his way too clean face. “What happened to him?” his body starts shaking, like he actually knows Taeyong and is losing someone precious to him.

You think for a while, your mind foggy with anxiousness yet restless with adrenalin. Taeyong did mentioned his friends quite often, but them being alive is something you never thought would happen.

It’s been days since you arrived and after being alone with Taeyong for so long, you thought you were the only two survivors.

“Are you okay?” The tall boy sniffs loudly when he sees you stare into the void. “Taeyong is our friend. Can you tell me what happened?” you can see he is trying to be gentle with you and you are glad he is using this method instead of freaking out.

You wouldn’t be able to handle another moment of madness without fainting, anyways.

Game Five : Hoping

Taeyong gets a little bit better, at least that’s what he wants you to believe. He seems to walk faster and faster every time you turn around to check on him. In reality, he knows his wound is now leaking with puss, and there’s nothing he can do to make it better.

You do your best not to panic every time he falls asleep, and you often find yourself touching his chest in hope it’s still moving. Taeyong acts like he doesn’t notice, even when you wake him up in the middle of the night because you can’t hear him breathe.

You can’t help it. You’re no doctor, but you know enough not to believe that his wound would heal by itself overnight. It makes you feel awful but at the same time, it gives you strength. You don’t know where it comes from, but it makes you feel like jumping around, climb trees and even make fire.

You transform into bloody Crocodile Dundee, not even scared of spiders anymore. You are now daring enough to touch these huge worms that are full of protein. Taeyong is glad that you finally get a grip and takes a little bit of his knowledge.

Game Four : Accepting

Title : Survival Games

Genre : AU, Angst, Fluff, Romance Pairing : Taeyong x You (reader) Summary : A deserted island and no hope left. There is only despair and this boy, Lee Taeyong, who seems to be the only survivor. You both were on the flight KAL134, from Auckland to Seoul.

Game 4 : Accepting

Everything feels different. You don’t know when you started feeling better in this jungle, but you know it has to do with Taeyong, who is his usual self. He still doesn’t mind that he must take care of everything for the both of you, and keeps on going around the jungle, never tired and always eager to find new things to chew on.

He literally keeps you healthy.

You do your best to help. Your cold made you lose a lot of weight and strength, but you do your best to keep up with his pace, asking him to slow down and him always apologizing and coming by your side to help you walk around.

There is one thing that became a habit ever since you caught that fever. Something you’re ashamed to talk about out loud, embarrassed. Taeyong does it naturally every night, claiming it’s a very common custom in the surviving world.

Because summer is over and you both feel a bit too cold when the night comes, this is how you end up curled against Taeyong every night. It always starts the same way, with you laying uncomfortably next to him, and it ends the same way, with you gripping on his clothes to find warmth.

And whenever you end up shivering Taeyong scoots closer and opens his sweater to wrap you into it before hiding your frozen hands into the thick fabric. You never thank him, too ashamed whenever you try to talk about it. Every morning you open your eyes and he is often already up, waiting for you to wake up. Then you stir and it makes him look down at your face, before sitting up so he can finally start with his day. He doesn’t say a word about it, even though you must admit he is more talkative. You know about what he used to do for a living and he even starts talking about his friends, the one he lost in the crash.

Game Three : Thinking

--

Game 3 : Thinking

You’re depressed. If you had to describe your state of mind, you’d say you had enough of this place. It’s not like you were okay with the situation initially, but this storm got you all gloomy and down, with no motivation and a strong will to give up.
You spend your days walking and waiting for the sun to set, then sleep – when you can even, fall asleep – and get up. You barely eat, your throat too tensed to even swallow anything. This survival thing is a lost cause and you know it, but you can’t let yourself die either, so you just let things be, because you have no other choice.

Taeyong notices the way your behaviour changes. He doesn’t say anything about it, but he doesn’t need to ask. He knows too much about this feeling of fear and the moment you realize you have no way out. He sees you wandering the jungle behind him, too tired to complain and too depressed to talk. He doesn’t know how to deal with this so he lets you be. You don’t want him to act like he should take care of you so you’re thankful for his silence and simply follows his lead, discovering the island with unsteady steps.

Your knee still hurts but you don’t care anymore. A knee is nothing next to what you’re living, and you have no way of treating it anyways.

Game Two : Sharing

Genre : AU, Angst, Fluff, Romance Pairing : Taeyong x You (reader)

Summary : A deserted island and no hope left. There is only despair and this boy, Lee Taeyong, who seems to be the only survivor. You both were on the flight KAL134, from Auckland to Seoul.

__

Game Two : Sharing

Out of all the things you hate on this island, the worst are mosquitos. They attack and never rest, leaving your skin with tiny red dots like you caught chickenpox. You try not to scratch too much, but during the night it seems you don’t care anymore, your sleepy hands attacking you restlessly until you almost bleed.

You feel disgusting. The sun shines and makes the weather hot during the day, but the temperature drops during the night, leaving you a shivering mess on the ground. Your hair is so dirty they stick to each other with no problem. You casually put them into a tight bun, and not a strand falls off, too thick with dust and other things you don’t want to identify.

Taeyong seems to have no problem with his condition. He walks around and discovers the jungle like he lived in such environment all his life. You feel a bit jealous, somehow.

“It’s not like I’m complaining, but I would love to have a shower, now.” You both walked so much into the jungle that you don’t even know where the seaside is anymore. You try not to say this type of things too often though, aware that it might disturb Taeyong’s peace. He started talking more, but that doesn’t mean he is friendly yet.

He doesn’t even answer, and you understand he didn’t even hear you as he walks faster into the jungle.

You still have no idea why you’re following him.

Game one : Discovering

“I’ll try to get some sleep.” You don’t fancy airplanes. You have no trouble getting into one, but you’d rather sleep your way through the journey rather than dealing with unusual noises. It’s only been three hours since the plane took off, but it feels so much longer already.

Timothy looks unfazed as he takes another bite from his meat, headphones into his ears and eyes focused on the screen in front of him. He has never been the chill type of guy but right now, he is enjoying his time way too much while you’re panicking.

You feel like throwing up.

“Hmm?” He says, leaning toward you and pausing the movie. You simply mime sleeping movements and he nods, already going back to what seems to be a comedy because he already starts giggling.

It doesn’t take long before you feel like throwing up for real. Timothy is too focused to notice when you get up and rush toward the toilets. Your stomach is up your lungs, and you pass a busy stewardess, hoping you’ll be able to hold it.

But the doors are locked. There are two toilets and both of them are closed.

Your head feels heavy. When you open your eyes, it’s nothing but bright white clouds, and sounds are foreign to your ears.

This place is unfamiliar.

A pang of pain hits your head and you try to sit. Your palms find the moist ground, sticky and unwelcoming.

Why are you covered in mud?

You look around and it is only trees and water. Beach. You’re close to the beach, you think, as you hear soft waves against the ground.

You get up and massage your sore shoulder, hair stuck to your face and eyes hurt by the bright sky.

You are not dreaming. You’re not where you should be right now.

You were on the plane. You were drifting off to sleep while a baby was crying loudly. You had your headphones on, arms snuggled into your coat to get some warmth.

Now you’re a mess, clothes ripped and arms stained with a blood you’re not even sure is actually yours.

Regret

Title : Regret Pairing : Taeyong x you Genre : Angst, Fluff Words : 3686 Summary : Taeyong regrets everything.

It’s insane. Well, no one is sane at five in the morning. Not when the sun is down and the sky is twinkling. There are so many stars, so beautiful in the middle of the fading shadows, mixing with shades of deep blue, pink, orange. It’s like a hidden painting. A piece of art above everyone, yet only a lucky number notices it.

He understands why you love looking up to the sky whenever you feel down. He is doing the same every time he can, because it reminds him of how dreamy you can be.

But Taeyong doesn’t do it out of pure will. He can’t sleep. No matter how much his body screams for rest, his brain keeps every cell alive, connecting with a sparkling pain and going all over his body, reaching his heart and clenching it, twisting his inside.

It’s still funny though, because he is the one responsible for that. He thought it would be better with time, he always got better with time. Like an endless practice, and practice makes perfect. So if he tried hard enough, he could forget about you.

If only he knew.
