Day 2 of video game challenge -- your favorite video game character.
Hopefully the game I'm working on counts LOL...
This is Francesca, a character I designed. I actually have a plethora of favorite characters, so it's hard to just decide on one. But, I had this sketch of one of dearest characters I created for this game. She reminds me of myself in many ways haha. Anyways, enjoy! I hope to revisit this sketch and finish it later.
Fun mario doodlez before I begin to actually work. Joining in the series with other artists for the 30 day videogame doodles thing. First game I've ever remember playing is one of the old marios (I think super mario 3) Anyways, this was fun, but definitely not my style haha. Hope you enjoy nonetheless.
First installment in my study series! — a daily session of 10 minutes to warm up and draw out of my comfort zone.
I pushed off doing conventional things like artistic studies and fundamental drawing things for so long...finally overcame that hump yesterday though, so here's to hoping for rapid improvement.
I want to start with studying values and form first, hence the black and white nature of this, and I also wanted to be able to achieve value and form through controlled brush technique rather than just applying different values. Image is referenced from a random photo on my computer.
Hoping to learn a lot, (and not poop out "OTL)
