yes.
What are your favorite Sonic games? Personally, I've always held a special place in my soul for Sonic 2. I know S3&K is considered the greatest Sonic game of all time, but Sonic 2 just has a certain charm to it...
Hey whoa! I couldn’t agree more! Freaky. I don’t think I’ve met anyone that has felt the same way about Sonic 2. While I do love 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, 2 was the one I played most as a kid so there’s more nostalgia attached to it. Oh! And like… playing as Knuckles in Sonic 2 is like… my favorite thing ever. What’s your favorite level in Sonic 2? Mine is totally the Casino Night Zones. I have the Casino Night song as my ringtone. >_> It’s just the best.
HOLY FUCK ME
:')
So you probably don't care, but whatever.
My 2012 San Diego Comic Con adventure!
Okay. So, my main mission was to purchase the SDCC '12 exclusive Omega key from the Skelton Crew Locke & Key collection of... keys at the IDW booth.
Totes got that Wednesday evening right as the floor opened thanks to the wonders of an exhibitor badge. Yayyerrr! (I'm the worst... sorry guys.)
I also bought the Limited Edition Whispering Iron. Because I have problems. And I love Locke & Key too much.
Anyway, after accomplishing my "key" mission so soon, my next mission was to get my Joe Hill books/L&K keys signed--when I say "books", I mean, 'Horns', 'Heart-Shaped Box', '20th Century Ghosts', 'Locke & Key: Clockworks' (the con exclusive), 'The Cape', and 'The Cape 1969' issue 1 con exclusive--and then the rest of the time I could run around and buy random shit. Yayyy!
I was able to get all my books signed thanks to a couple friends in line who gladly took some of my items to get signed for me. (There was a 3 item limit! Ah!) A friend took this picture of me and Mr. Hill (as some of you might've seen my previous post XD):
(I am sad Zach Howard is not participating in the picture! I love him ;_;)
I discovered that I love animation cels and production drawings more than I realized and bought these: (I guess I'm gonna have a mini gallery in my apartment...)
Adventure Time was everywhere. I got to buy this 32GB flash drive of Fionna! Yay! I believe another con exclusive?
And then I bought some other little shits. Whatever. Blah, blah blah.
"Celeb" highlights
- The Workaholics boys were totes staying at the hotel I was staying at. Got to watch them pick up a few ladies by the pool. I mean that in the least creepy way possible...
- I heard Neil deGrasse Tyson was staying at my hotel as well, unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of running into him. :(
- Saw Seth Green a few times. He bumped into my friend's boob and never apologized. What. A. Dick. lolz Kidding! Poor guy can't get through an aisle without getting bombarded! Get a mask, bro!
- Totes saw George R.R. Martin speeding past my friend and I in a motor chair. Wuuut!
- I spotted Patrick Rothfuss a few times - too shy to ask for a picture. :( (Idiot!)
- I had the pleasure(?) of having a very awkward conversation with Fabio Moon. Oh the awkward silences! And then even more awkward words! Ah well, he was nice about my social retardation.
Mr. Kirkman took awesome pics of my friend(s) and I with some pretty cool peeps from The Walking Dead party! Here they are: (don't mind the horrible lighting... ugh... so... horrible...)
All in all, this year's SDCC was pretty freaking amazing.
OOOOOOH! by WinterArtwork - Available at teefury.com for $10 for the next 24 hours only!
Um. This is the best fucking thing I have ever seen. Buying it. Right now. Holy shit. I can't wait.
Tonight I reminded myself how much I love this song. :P <3
