Ensign Kittycat explores the vast frontier of... the front stoop 💛💙
Hello ! I just saw your post with your Landing Party Cat (love it ❤) and i wish to know : where did you find such a good replica of the communicator ?
Aaah thank you so much!! Lol it always surprises me how many notes my cat posts get! 😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰
The communicator is the "Star Trek Light-and-Sound Communicator RP Mini" by Running Press / Chip Carter - it's available through Amazon, Walmart, etc. (the link should take you to RP's website, and that page has several links to where it's sold). I also have their mini TNG tricorder; both were given to me as gifts but all their Trek stuff seems to be really reasonably priced. ☺
It's fairly small (about 4 inches when the cover is closed)--not as big as the Diamond Select replica (which is a lot more expensive... and I *think* has Bluetooth capabilities?). I have small hands so I got a pic with a ruler, too, so you can get a better sense of size: 😂
It comes with a cute little booklet with info about the TOS communicators, too! (Ensign Kittycat is only pretending she can read... she just likes the pictures 🥰)
This is the whole kit 'n' kaboodle:
It's a fun little accessory, and the buttons make a couple different sound/light effects. 🤩 Anyway, I hope this helps!! 😄🖖💛💙❤
Captain to landing party... Ensign Kittycat, please respond.
Kirk to landing party... I'm beaming down to help you, maintain your position.
"Oh! Ensign Kittycat, you're... perfectly fine? I'm glad you're alright, but why weren't you responding?"
"I see... you were lying down and... it was too hard to... reach over... and push the button. *sigh* Well... thank you for your honesty, Ens--AAGH!!!!"
"...................................you understand I'll have to put you on report for knocking down a superior officer, right?"
