Than Are Dreamt Of In Your Philosophy Ch 17: Crowley wobbles his way out towards the front of the shop, trying to convince his brain to accept what his eyes are telling him – that the books around him aren’t wreathed in flame, that there’s no smoke or ash to burn its way down his throat, no lights or sirens on the street outside. He tries, he does, but isn’t really sure he’s successful. He slides to a stop at the shop’s front counter, first bracing his hands against the worn edge, then curling down over it, his spine rounding and flexing. He rests his elbows on the counter, drops his head into his hands, pushing his glasses up to instead rub at his eyes with his fingers.
To Halve and To Hold Ch 11: “Soulbonds come with gifts,” Nori says bluntly all of a sudden, and Bilbo opens his eyes again to find the dwarf looking at him out of the corner of his eye. “Sort of like a special ability or a seventh sense.” Bilbo frowns, sure he can only count five regular senses himself, until he remembers the dwarves’ stone sense. Nori goes on before he can open his mouth to ask, in any case. “There’s a few categories of common ones, but no two bonds are ever exactly the same.” He pauses, looking over at Bilbo more fully, and then asks, “Thorin really hasn’t told you any of this?”
Red and the Wolf Part 1: “They call me Red,” she says, lifting her hand to signal to one of the passing barmaids and gesturing vaguely down at Terra’s half-eaten meal to order another of the same. She smiles at Terra’s confused expression, dark skin crinkling around eyes that are, unmistakably, that very color. “Not a proper name, or so I’ve been told. More like a play on words, a translation from my native tongue.”

Sorry I let this sit for so long… Communicating is pretty hard for me at the best of times, and then I think some part of me just wanted to hang onto this lovely message where I could read it over & over again instead of replying, lol n_n;

I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying THaTH so much! This is… honestly, so flattering, I keep having to stop typing to cover my face and just, like, try to breathe, lol. It’s also very encouraging to hear that it feels well-planned; building & then sticking to an outline is definitely something I struggle with, and a lot of chapters/scenes get sort of written on the fly, but I’m at least trying to make sure I cover all the bases of plot/emotional/character growth that I want to include. I’m really looking forward to getting back to this story once I put the finishing touches on ATaSM, and I’ve found myself jotting down in my notes scenes & conversations I want to cover more and more lately – though, of course, most of them are for later chapters, not where we currently are in Rivendell, sigh…

Anyway, thank you again for this sweet message, and for your support on AO3
