Sombra hacks Zarya’s canon and she just shrugs, drops it, and punches her in the face. “Too bad you can’t hack THESE GUNS!” Zarya laughs. She flexes over Sombra’s stunned body. Russia is saved.

So thinking about it, Sombra’s ability to “hack” people seems like it’s mostly explainable? Almost every character in the game is using, wearing, or armed with something high tech, from Tracer’s accelerator to Winston’s jetpack to S76′s visor+pulse rifle. In fact, I think the only one it doesn’t work for is Roadhog.

I like the idea of Sombra trying to hack him, and her electro-glove-thingies just can’t find anything. She’d just be like “dude, at least get a smartphone, come on”

Maybe this is why Ana won’t let Mercy fix her eye.
